Quinn Revisited Part Four of the Rogues of Quinn Series Original storyline and concept by Andy Boylan AKA Taliesin_ttlg New storyline by Steve Disque, AKA blazingst; Much thanks for all assistance from Andy Boylan and his beta crew. Your ultimate goal is to rebuild the guild along with the relationship between you and your grandfather. Along the way, you will need to reinforce existing relationships and create new ones. Once again the reputation of the guild will be improved, and yet allow for the guild to operate unknown throughout the city. You will of course perform the necessary deviant tasks to repair the damage done by the chaos guild and the original drow invasion. BE SURE TO TAKE SHERA AS YOUR HENCH, AND DO NOT PLAY WITH ITEM LEVEL RESTRICTION ON. THE BATTLES ARE DIFFICULT, AND THE ENDING REQUIRES NO ITEM LEVEL RESTRICTION. | |||||||||||||

Part 4 is from a different autor and misses by far the quality of the prequel-trilogy. It's a h&s opera for rogues.
There are some weird design descission, the scripting is faulty, but the worst is the recommendation to install the ojh override. I don't see the point, installing this. The mod will start without it. I really found nothing which looks better with it.
Btw. The autor seams to expect a male PC.
MAJOR SPOILERS:
The third part of Roques of Quinn gives you a choice between 3 endings:
A) join drow and betray your guild and Quinn
B) stay with guild, but kill your grandfather
C) stay with guild and "forgive" your grandfather
This module assumes you took route C!
Apparently not only you forgive your grandfather but continue to be his lackey in the worst way ever. Guildmaster obviously is the target for lawful "avenging" as he broke the rules by not punishing the priest. That is definitely not a lawful choice.
Moreover the betrayal of Iain and Rado.. does not compute.
The quests don't make sense - you are trying to keep low profile, but slaughter entire shop..
Your character is kind of forced to roleplay as chaotic evil character.
Middle Earth setting is put into this.. is nonsensical. Honestly there are no drow in Middle Earth/Shire and no gods llike Quinn either.. Why make Middle Earth a part of plot?
QA will follow shortly in another post.
QA (notice how many compared to parts 1 to 3, even to them combined..):
- basically more HnS than rogue adventure..
- flying vase in guildmaster's room
- Shera (henchwoman) can't use her own bow
- Fragrin Stillgart has male voiceset
- Override use is unnecessary. Just put everything in the hak :|
- Curve of metal employees are hostile even before getting the quest to kill them. This quest is also nonsensical. Hobbits forgot they are only a front and not the real shop.
- Juno (the baker) is still free.. after so much time.. there is no justice in Jaral xD
- Shera won't sneak
- Merit Mansion guards have animal voicesets
- abundant XP rewards and items break the balance
- lots of closed doors
- missing portraits
- Jaral gate is still closed and guard there has outdated conversation
- no sewers..
- dead sleeping NPCs
- There is still loot and traps in Eternal Hope Crypt
- Game doesn't recognize I have killed the lich in 2nd part already..
- shrouded helm description is wrong
- can't report the death of the lich
- Neverwinter militia and some "dead" customers are still at Kat House
- Blackstone guild (rogues) are right in the open, even marked on the map
- Stephen's Smithy is closed for no reason
- Male Duargar guards have female voicesets
- Duergar commoners are mute
- Petrified oak quest does not complete jounrnal
- Hobbit sword quest can be taken again after completing it already
- Soido doesn't open his shop nor rents a room
- Can't leave Shire
- Avatar of Quinn at 1 Town Place speaks nonsense about Underdark.
- Erstle Stormrunner messes up directions (NW, where is should be NE)
- Iain does not speak despite later conversations implying so (he is hostile form the start)
- Customs had only blackstone members
- Clean out sewers quest does not complete
- Can report quest to guildmaster multiple times
- you get +7 weapons.. pretty op..
- stepehns smithyis closed for no reason
- Kilbod is both at the guild and lighthouse (you can kill him twice?)
- chest at customs building is named wrongly
- steal a portrait Journal entry remains incomplete
