The choice between falling to your death amidst the ruins of a resurrected Netherese city or jumping blindly into the Shadowplane� well, at least you had a chance in the shadows. You�ve been there a long time now, the shadows drawing deep into you, so cold in the darkness that you�ve ceased to remember warmth or light. And then you�re rescued� Travel back to the time of the Netheril Empire! Explore the ruins of the first city that fell and discover what brought it down. There a reason why the dragon's door is impassable and there is no key?

Okay: Dragon door requires key, it is obtainable in the same area. Kill everyone hostile, talk to everyone not ;)
Edit: more spoilers: Lizard lady has the key, on the west side of map. Talk to her. Doors without key otherwise can be bypassed.

Regarding mod itself:
1. Fate of SoU Companions: Deekin is saved, but others are not mentioned (consistent with HotU, in which only Deekin is available) (+0.35)
2. Given Relic of the Reaper: YES (+0.5)
3. Unique use items: power stone - partially (haste + one flame arrow instead of many), mirror is not working (+0.25)
4. Ends in Waterdeep: no, but in the realm of the reaper(not the same as in HotU, though and then it ports to OOC area..) (+0.25)
5. Ending level(should be at least 15, but since I finished SoU at 13th.. I will accept 16th): 17 (-0.5)*
Final Vote: 7+0.85=7.85=8
Bugs etc:
- typos: "NamelessOnewho" - Papermonk;
- Plot.. is not strong with this one.. Chromatic Dragon employing kobolds.. kind of reminds me of SoU, which this is prequel of. Another fallen city plot is fine (but again repetitive?). Overall plot is not so good. Kind of skips the plane of shadow entirely.
- one of the sphinx riddles with answer "sun" is not working
- once Gyber leaves the party "forever" he can be rehired
- Yashamo has no portrait
Sphinx riddle answer is Light, I believe.
It is quite interesting! A bit overwhelming the final loot, but still very good.

A truly great work. I enjoyed the dialogue and NPC interactions, the combat was just right, with varied monsters and some decent loot. The story was the timeless classic of saving the world, which I was able to accomplish! Deekin stayed out of the way for the most part and did not require babysitting that you might imagine he would.

Got the Relic on a reload This time and could leave the room, and now have finished this fine work! All seemed to work, although I did not see my little annoying buddy Gilliga...er I mean Deekin afterwards as promised. Thanks so much for all the excellent effort!
