Description | |
The Nature Of A Man is the second module in a two part series. The first being 'In The Footsteps Of Dante' which took you through areas of a Dante like hell and combined the theme of Dantes hell with a followup story to the great Planescape Torment computer game. It is not essential that you have played the first in the series but it is recommended. The Nature Of A Man is for characters of levels 18 and up of good alignment. (Neutral or evil characters can play the module but there are no particularly evil paths through the game to follow.) The module itself is rather linear and story based although there are opportunities for combat in various areas. There are four potential henchman to choose from. (You may only choose one and there are reasons for this.) |

Thanks Dude, but the file is broken. I get info about errors while testing this archive:
Also its size is much less than expected - original zip file weighted over 80MB:

Yes, I know rar ususally offers much better compression rate than zip, but definitely this is not the case here.
Updated the file.
Hm. Looks like now we have all files, including the music - in the download. I didn't even know that the bmu files were missing.
Thanks, Turkeys - good job and much appreciated!
I can't pass Asmodius's first quest. The item he gives me "guma bomb" keeps disappearing from my inventory before I get to the quest location.
I did not make this mod. I have no idea how this mod was uploaded under my account. Credit where credits due, boys, so forgive me that I can't answer any questions you have concerning this module.
That's a shame. Guess I'll have to leave this series as sadly unfinished.
My short review is with the first part (in the fotsteps of dante)
This part is a little bit better than the first one I think. Didn;t like the ending - SPOILER why the torus must exist? Why not collapse it and keep everyone happy? Why not find some villain to fill in the place? END SPOILER
Some QA/typos/bugs:
- Perem Frenald has no conversation
- guma bomb disappeared, the task was somehow omitted I was send to 2nd task (prisoner exchange)
- Fall from Grace kept her Balor looks :(
- typos:
"ruins" (should be "runes") - Bookshelf in Turris-is
"severd" - Grayson
"actully synthasize" - guide next to gnome food machine
"concience" and "here"("hear) - soul shadow
"broach"("brooch") - general graffenthorn
Not sure why my review is not showing up here but I played and enjoyed this a short while ago. Very fine piece of work. try it, but have a very capable (perhaps cheated?) PC that can handle a whole lot of damage and deal it also. Once again, I was not able to get any hench action going, all turned me down for no reason!
A nice revisit to Planescape:Torment, long after the fact...Chose Fall From Grace as my Helper and she was a good one. A Challenging, totally linear, but very engrossing adventure and with lots of philosophy thrown in and around! Much thought and effort went into the superb module. Thank you.
