[SoU+HotU+1.69] 'Two months after your strange experiences in the mansion, you arrive at your destination at last: the city of Narcopolis.' Although this is the sequel to my module 'Stormy Night': Link it is not required to play this one. A strange, single-player experience for any class and alignment, levels 15-20. |

Seemed like watching "The Ring" movie... nice animations especially if playing a monk (too bad I used a bard). The school... it was really frightening (will never play it again at night) but again... I was stuck... when it happens I initially tend to say the fault is mine but when I think of the OC (and I played it REALLY hundreds of times) where I never got stuck then I think again that something went missing.
So, what tshould I do when I am stuck just next to that school where ghosts seem to whisper? I would gladly change my actual vote.
Have you read the comments? Maybe the answer is there: http://neverwintervault.org/rolovault/projects/nwn1/modules/3921/index.h...
I can't recall it :(
My old vault vote was 10.
- some convo options disappear after first conversation with particular NPC(persuade, bluff, intimidate, perform etc.)
- Holy symbol of Kos is missing its appearance(maybe it was supposed to be used up while fighting nosferatu in the first part)
it's fine, but not top 10
Thank you Werelynx, before I play it again I will have a look at those comments. The atmosphere was well shaped and I liked the dark humor in the story.
I played this one right after playing Stormy Night. This is a vey unique module. It is sometimes very creepy and then beautiful and then sometimes dreamlike. The music and atmosphere were amazing. The quests are well thought out and many of them have some interesting "backstory' to them. The story finished with a slight twist I had not expected.
I played this through with a 15th Level Rogue with 1.69 and CEP 2.4 with no issues. I did go to the walkthrough for at least one quest, but after reading the "answer" I realized with just a litte more digging I would have found it.
If you play this I reccomend if you get stuck just revisit past NPC's for updated information.
I really liked this module. It is a little slow in the beginning as you begin to unfold the story but once it gets going it is an engaging tale. Well done thegeorge, I will add my vote of 9 to this one.
Very minor update.
You used a version from 2005 build for HotU 1.65 for your minor update according to your changlog. The version I have here is from 2008 and already build vor HotU 1.69. Is that a misunderstanding on my side or a version mixup un your side? Perhaps neither? Could you share some light on my observations?
Greetings
Skildron
As far as I know it should be for HotU 1.69.
Someone posted a video playthru of this:
