Description | |
This adventure is a sequel to the module Midwinter Festival, and a character exported from the conclusion of that module should be used for this game. Alternatively, a new 10th level character can be used. Troubled times are plaguing the desert city of Yylarium. An unnaturally harsh winter and prolonged drought concern a populace fearful of thirst, starvation, and the possibility of war. With political tensions running high, the PC must take sides in a fierce internal struggle to determine who will be the next ruler of the desert Emirates. The PC becomes reacquainted with Kama, a Knight Panther who is first encountered in Midwinter Festival. For this module, it is intended that Kama is treated as a traveling companion, and not merely as a henchman/henchwoman. She will have valuable contributions to make to this adventure once she is asked to join you, and she provides much of the motivation for the module Midsummer Knights' Dream. |

Just replayed Part 2 and really enjoyed it! Onwards to Part 3! :-)
This was another fantastic mod. I'm super impressed by the amount of dialog and detail that went into the mod. I feel I might have missed out on a chance to get my choice of candidate elected (parallels to 2016??) but it was still really great. There was never a dull moment either. The mod felt so alive. The NPC's all had their own little problems, down to allergies. It was really a great game. The fights were at some points difficult, but with a little help from a henchlady and some potions, it was nothing I couldn't handle.
great mod and as is common, part 2 is better then part one
A good module Iwould say. All things worked and most quests were acknowledged. Did not really get the reason for the Salamander or find the Hive Mother in the tunnels, but other than those minor gripes I liked it!
Very very nice module! It reminds me an old Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay adventure called "Power behind the throne".
P.S. Is it possible to explore the abandoned Wizard's tower in the desert? Thanks.
