Could have been great but Bergan didn't spawn.
After trying to help Bisbi, all went red and hostile on me! Not sure what I did to deserve that...Ended things fo rme. I will try to reverse my warehouse investigation order and see if that helps.
I just played this again and all seemed to work fine. I did all the quests for Bisbi, the Mayor, Priest and now am back up in the Mines. I have found the dwarf bro for the second time and he wants me to find out why the Duergar are surfacing. Darned if I know, and I have already killed all of them in their mine, so a no go. None of them were blue, all red and hostile, so didn't have a chance for a chat!
Too bad as I am fairly sure that this is a deal breaker as far as advancing the module. No henchpersons, which I like to have along for company, and the gear that you can buy or find or win is not much to speak of. But overall this was a fine advanture and I would suggest playing it. Just a whole lot of trekking some huge areas, no Stone of Recall or anything, and fairly low level baddies. And absolutely NO respawn.
Liked it.
It starts with an amount of XPs that gets you straight to level 2. The quests are various and the ambientation is nice. Strange NPCs giving you different quests, the guild of burglars which controls the town affairs, the desperate mayor.
Everything is well packed even though some might find the walking in the serpentine town a litlle bit tedious.
Another free respawn module and with some issues like already pointed out by the previous comments.
It deserves a look, given the chance I would go for a vote of 6.5.
