I have to say this is a great tribute to this game. I just watched someone play it earlier today and remember i played this module before i knew what it was about a long time ago. Just like the NES game it is very difficult! This is a dungeon crawl at its finest, but also its most difficult! it is not meant for the easy-going player but i do reccommend this for the amount of work the author went into creating this as well for the nostalgia of good old games
I've played TIM 6 years ago when it came out and only just noticed that it doesn't have any ratings yet. I remember being very impressed, almost blown away by the work that McV did with the help of Ben Harrison here - the quality of the custom content, the ingenuity of this conversion - as well as occasionally frustrated, because - make no mistake - this is not an ordinary NWN module, the gameplay is quite different, more of a puzzle adventure game with a lot of trial-and-error gameplay and many ways to die horribly. I've never played the original, but from what I've seen on YouTube, the module is very faithful to it, so if there are any fans of The Immortal, they should have a ball with this blast from the past. For me, it was not so much fun as an intruiging experience, an exploration into how creative you can get with the toolset and the custom content, a journey full of wonder, surprises, and also frustrations. But definitely something unique, outstanding and worth checking out!
Ah! I remember this module, i've played with it at the times of the old vault. The only thing i remember was the sack or chest with the purple worm. First time i almost got an heart attack.
