Description | |
You've just arrived at the halfling town of Grapevine. You have come to try to find the ruins of a lich's stronghold but end up as a murder suspect instead. Now you have to find the truth about the crime. Luckily, an down-on-his-luck mage, Larry, is willing to help. Meant as a fairly linear story with some side quests and a little humor. Not many puzzles but a fair amount of combat. version 3.0 |

Some inconsistencies, some of which help the module.
Still, it could use some polishing.
This is a great module. Much larger than it seems at first, with large areas and many monsters. The story is not bad also, which helps. All things seemed to work except for the Ranger quest for the Giant's head. ONe thing I liked was the lack of respawn, as you do have to traverse these large areas several times, and it would be a pain to have to re-kill all the baddies over and over again!
I very much recommend it. I played it with a Level 10 solo fighter, but with improved capabilities. Fun stuff!
I forgot to mention the henchman interface, which was great! Lot osf interaction and very capable folks. They could stand on their own two feet, which is saying something compared to most modules. Larry was quite a Lich!
