This was a heavy dose of Hack n Slash but that is okay when you are uber'ed out! The gear that I found from felled baddies was in some cases better than what I came in with! I made it all the way until the end, and then ran into an issue. I liked the concept of a family of monsters, all with special weapons and armor and techniques. Nicely done! Spoilers:
The Corid Hategood End Boss seems unkillable! I got him, and his clone, down to low HP and he just quaffs a Healing Potion, then shortly thereafter a Heal potion, and we are back to the beginning. Not sure how to stop this endless cycle, as some of the other memebers of the family just run out of the Heal potions and then die. I had thought that maybe the Phylactory that you run into earlier in the dungeon might have something to do with things, but it turns out, after runninng back to it, that it is just one of the multitude of stores. So now I am just whacking away at the final boss, with no real outcome in sight. Anybody know how to end this thing? I would suggest a Specialization in Long Sword as there are so very many nice ones that you accumulate in the game. The Respawn is a way overdone, I would have to say, sometimes popping baddies back in while you are still in the same area! And these are some of the toughest ones, not just the rank and file. This is a good module to just let out your aggression!
