You were meandering along, minding your own business, when you were transported from the realm of Faerun to this .. place. From the get-go, there are many odd things happening, and your job is to find out what they are. Talk to the villagers, talk to the King and his adviser . . . talk to everyone. Maybe you can solve the King's problems. |

Short, enjoyable, light weight, linear, quick leveling module. I played a Halfling Rogue/Barbarian/Assassin, ending up 7/4/7 respectively.
(Str 8, Dex 20, Con 14, Int 14, Wis 8, Cha 8 at L1).
Some encounters are too tough, but there was no xp or gold loss for respawning.
OTT amount of treasure and gold at the end, but no item (or level) strip at beginning so possible to bring in bags of holding.
One quest couldn't be completed, as I could not hand over an item to a npc, but I was happy to keep it anyway.

Horrid Wilting spells proved to be the real killers.

You may not want to complete the first quest as the weapon you exchange for adamantite is probably better than the one you get later, despite losing out on 3000xp.
Pretty good fun. There is a story and main quest. Apparently you are supposed to play this as a Halfling, per some of the conversations and the gear from the king. Spoilers:
Problem is the main quest does not end properly, no way back with the queen, as there is no conversation for this and the portal doesn't function.. You promise to kill the wizard but that doesn't happen, unless you force it, and then the queen goes red also! The amulet side quest is not with the dragon but a lich in a second portal, which does not get acknowledged either. Too bad. Pretty good gear in the stores, but most have the same stuff. Dragon horde is the best!
