The initial quest is broken, it will not accept the quest item. There are a few spelling errors and a rather mundane quest to begin with. I stopped after the broken quest and didn't bother with finishing it.
The initial quest is broken but there is a whole lot more to this module than just the little starting area. If you get to the ligher level you can then travel around to where there is a cave and this is the start of your adventure. There is a Stone of Recall so make sure that you pick that up. I have some issues with this module, mostly because there are SO many levels to each area, in some cases with Respawn of Fire Giants and the like, and in many areas too much treasure, mainly too much dropped and containers. This becomes a big waste of time and effort and is distracting. No good gear is found.
The Temple Level 2 was not finished, as it was empty, but Level 3 was populated by baddies. And Level 6 of the Pass before that was Bodak Central, not sure how anyone but super buffed will handle this, with up to 9 or so Bodaks in one area, and there are many areas with groups of three! Lots of repetition of monsters and I just basically gave up in the temple, too worn out.
