Description | |
The Forge of Wonders is a utility module consisting of one area with the following NPCs: - A smith who modifies items. Most of the item properties available in the toolset can be added by the smith. - A trainer who provides experience or gold on request. This is useful when modules require a character of a specified level. - A merchant who sells all the items included in the toolset. The Forge of Wonders can be used to build up characters for use in other modules, or could be included as part of a module. |

Excellent creation helper module. Additional thanks for modifying items like in HoU!
I like this forge. It does lacks an item ability to cast spells, or have spell effects upon weapons striking a target.
I found this to be the best leveller and equipping module for many years, until I discovered the slightly better "Pretty Good Forge of Advanced Training" which has many of the same functions, including the Blacksmith that is critical for customing items of all types, and has a few added goodies. I was able to add the "On hit" characteristics to weapons and such, which is always a blast. Try this and come up with some neat PC's to save for use in other modules. I also like to have additional custom gear that I keep for outfitting my henchies! Don't forget to use the free gold chests, with up to 100,000GP per click!
