v1.00. A fairly advanced virtual theater for this wonderful game that NWN is, powered by my own scripting language. Plays and poetry for around 350-400 minutes included, most notably Ibsen - An Enemy of the People in five acts (thank gods, it's over) and Synge - Riders to the Sea in one act. So, it's more than a proof of concept (but it's not really a game). requires: - NWN 1.69, HotU, SoU - CEP 2.2 - Community Music Pack CMP at: Link. cmp_1.69.hak at: Link - JenX - CEP 2.0 Various/Kilana Evra at: Link (kil_jenxcep2.hak) Developed with special emphasis on multiplayer, but I didn't test it at all. Now that the rehearsals are over I release my child in the free. Batteries not included. The Five Flagons would also work for human actors or ds-tl assisted human actors. I can think of little thats not possible here. Authors desperately needed. The FF is Public Domain hereby as far as I'm concerned. Maybe 2-3 major official releases will follow over the next 1-2 years. One act is possible in two days of work, but I'm clearly not rushing. Besides, you start hearing voices, when you write ds-tl plays as a fulltime job... doesn't mean it's no fun. The waypoint grid goes from "grid_0_0" (front left) to "grid_29_29" (back right). You find all kinds of strange examples in my brown books. The only basic scripts are just rs1_curtains and rs1_resetarea. Aspiring authors should read the journal entry first, read all docs and watch the "rs1 showcase", the rest is Copy&Paste. Please report bugs, especially in plays. It's next to impossible to overlook the complete repertoire for possible side effects. But it's rock solid. From the technical side we need to proceed with utter care; the authors should follow the guidelines. I'll keep all changes minimally invasive and downwards compatible. Future content maybe in ERF+HAK expansions, this would sound fine to me and is completely failsafe. Sounds like this is not a game module.
Wow, this is an exceptional piece of scripting and a marvellous eyecandy for sure.
Some of the links to required haks seam to be broken.
I took cmp from here:
https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwn1/audio/music/community-music-pack
The "cmp.hak" of this one needs to be renamed to "cmp_1.69.hak"
Then I used the "JenX" from here:
https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwn1/hakpak/original-hakpak/jenxs-p...
I dont know if the replacements are fully compatible, but the mod seams to run quite well (v 1.69, not tested with EE)
