Description | |
Unhinging the Doors of Time is the conclusion of the two-part Evengale series (the first part being When Reality Loses its Grip). It's got some cool special effects, a gripping, character-driven story, and a generous smattering of wacky humor. |

A different sort of module, I would say. A couple of major baddies doing their thing, and couple of henchies that just pop up unexpectedly, and for a short time. A bit hard to figure out what to do or where to go next.
Spoliers:
There is a hidden spot at the edge of the Eastern exit of the town, that allows you to proceed to the end. You need to find this rock feature and then you can get down to the cavern. I missed it for a while...
Not a very fulfilling experience, playing these two modules. There are problems with moving things ahead in the second one, as I am able to kill the automatons easily, probably short circuiting anything like a story continuance. The whole affair feel disjointed and loose, with little direction as to what to do. The first installment was probably an 8 star effort, the second 7 stars. The limited hench interface was not good. Too bad, but not worth playing.
