Hakpak | Moderator comment : The author wrote "No haks required for normal version. The PRC version requires PRCv2.2c installed". However, on examination, the normal version requires CEP1, whereas the CEP2 version requires CEP2. |

Description | |
Endless Nights IV is a dynamic world with random monster spawns, random quests, and random magic item generation to create a very replayable game experience. The game also features monster-races, such as orcs, goblins and bandits, that come in a variety of classes and levels. The module also includes a death and ranking system, a magic item creation system, a magic item modification system, and the ability to play on both the good and evil as well as neutral. |

Played this with my uber solo fighter PC and it worked well, up until a faction shift caused by my over-exuberant henchie! After he attacked the Arena Master, but nobody else turned red, I was okay, I thought. Then after doing another quest and returning by horse, he attacked an innocent bystander in town and it was on! Oh well, I think I played enough of this to see the strong points and weak too. The henchperson interface was very good indeed, allowing for full equipping, auto-levelling and even some comments uttered by the helper in certain situations. There were plenty of mechants, some with nice gear, and you really got a whole lot of nice, custom stuff after a while. Check on every item that is dropped by a baddie, some are quite powerful and made playing more fun.
This is a large and complicated affair, linear but open also, with the quests given by the Guild, in my case the Adventurer's one. If you rescue prisoners at any point, I found that the best place to return them (otherwise the stick with you forever!) is the Tower in the Burning Sands. You can jump there by horseback and then back to town.
What custom talk tables did you use? I am having trouble with opening this module, it keeps saying that it needs a required custom talk table.
I am having trouble accessing this module. It keeps saying that I am missing a custom talk table.
@Deadslayer_247 if you look at your log, it should tell you which file is missing. On a cursory examination, it depends which version you're using. The regular version includes a .tlk file. The CEP version expects cep2_v1.tlk which requires you to install CEP2 from the Required Projects link above.
In either case, the .tlk file goes in the tlk folder, in the same location as your modules folder.
It still didn't work. Everything is set but it keeps saying missing custom talk table. Not even my log says what is missing.
Which version of the module are you using? On what OS?
The regular version.
Drilling into the regular version, I can see that the author's information is incorrect. It requires CEP1, which you can find here:
https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwn1/hakpak/cep1-complete
However, you might prefer to download CEP2 and the CEP2 version, as that will be more recent.
If "mobile" means "Android", you probably also need to change the file names to lower case (not sure whether that's true for IOS).
I finally have managed to load the module. It was missing cep 1. Thanks for all of your help, really helped me a lot.
