Description | |
It started out as such a simple quest... there you were, a bold adventurer, seeking a magic staff. There was an inn on the edge of nowhere, with a group of friendly locals willing to help... and then matters got more and more complicated, more horrific. A maze of sorrow and despair unfolded before your very eyes, enveloping all... a maze that sang a song of lamentation for those who have passed away. An elegy. ...a dramatic story-driven module, by Stefan Gagne. Full Version includes a full soundtrack, voice acting, and intro movie. (Updated to v1.1) |

Fun, even after all these years! thanks, Stefan! :-)
Was a fun, but a little short, story driven mod. It was approprite level challenge for two level 8 characters. The dialog and quests were well written and planned very cleverly. The only bad thing about it is that there isn't any replay value. Once you solve the story, it is solved. 9/10
Outstanding.
Short but good really appreciated the custom music, portraits and voice acting, great start!
It says "Min Character Level" is 5. Does that mean the minimum starting level? If so, that would explain why I was having such a hard time with the fights as a Level 1 character! I felt a bit cheap luring each enemy away individually.
To start as a Level 5 character, do you guys just create a character and then dm_giveXP to reach Level 5?
I use one of the many character builder mods out there and just save my character at different levels, to use in different modules. You can also outfit your PC with some pretty cool, and sometimes custom, gear. I like regen, haste and Lore giving items as they really make it more fun, for me, not to die so easily and to heal up and move faster around the areas. Try to find some of the modules that allow you to creat a character from scratch, then level up also. You can also do it from the Console as you show in your post. Not as much fun...
