After finding yourself a room in the boarding house, you hear rumours of a sinister plot to coup the city. Who knows what is lurking in the grimy depths beneath the city. Needs "arena.hak"
Corvalinsk Arena contains a HAK by that name. Oh and author included all previous modules in DW4 - Dark Sun Setting so that might be preferable as the latest version.
So DW4 is DW1-3?
Yep - "DW4: Dark Sun Setting is a combination of all four previous Darksun World modules Dw0 - DW3. It is set in the Forgotten Realms World of Athas and is in the Tablelands surrounding Draj, and Tyr. This game is multi or single player and was inspired by the upcoming Community Module Project."
but doesn't provide the hak file to play. in regards to dw4 dark sun setting, it downloads only the mod file.
@kenmei071 did you install all the files listed under Required Projects? If so, which hak is missing?
The log will tell you.
After all the excessive downloading I was able to play this odd module. Absolutely no guidance or map pins, no real journal. The areas are over large and some have no way to get back! The sewer grates are a great trap, many with no transition point to move forward or even back. Once you drop through the grate you have to find another way out. Also, be VERY careful with your conversation choices as they can result in hostile NPCs at the drop of a hat! Not sure that this is a good way to do things as it probably shuts off many opportunities and results in tedious fighting with otherwise friendly folk! It certainly required me to reload several times. Absolutely no story and the quests were small and hard to fulfill.
I quit as this was very frustrating and seemed to lead nowhere. Not sure why all the Haks needed to be used but so be it. Be warned.
