Description | |
This is a pure hack and slash with many traps. there are 12 levels of caves, dungeons, crypts, and ruins to go through. The story is very stupid (i just needed somthing that would give your adventurers a reason to go into the dungeons). If only one person plays, you should grab the 3 henchmen that are classes that your not (this module supports multiple henchmen) And finally, please post your comments, thanx! |

Actually this was a nice and fun adventure! You can choose up to three henchpersons at the start, and there lies the rub. No store or way to get any good gear, so you are stuck with the very minimal equipment that each comes in with, along with no potions. I luckily had some extra equipment that I could dole out to try to keep the guys alive, but it was difficult at times and the one henchie, Thorin, stopped leveling up at 105 HP, not sure why. Very good interface with the helpers, and they levelled without issue, except as mentioned. Along the way there were scant potions to be found, some GP and jewels, which were essentially of no vlaue, and further along some interesting gear started to appear. I felt the monsters were a bit too powerful for a standard group, but my PC was able to turn the tide, in some places by himself.
There were so many trapped and locked (unbashable) doors and chests that a thief (or a PC with Rogue skills) was an absolute necessity. Lots of traps also, which basically just hurt my henchpersons. But the areas were interesting and the group effect I like. So 9 stars! Just bring along some gear for your buddies!
