Since "Krynn's New Beginning" PW went down already on 1st of January 2010, there is no need from my view of things to keep theses areas for myself only, hence I hereby make them available to the public. All areas were done by me, except the DM Quest Areas, which were done by a very good DM of ours. Most scripts were done by our main scripter Jason, a good bunch of them were modified by me to suit my needs, though. Some of these areas are already in use on RoH 2 (Rise of Honor 2) PW. What you will find in here: - 2 Battlefields (designed for DMs to port players there to have them do their battles) - 7 areas of different tilesets for DM quests (medium sized) to be set up first to DM liking, so you can port your players there and don't have to design a new area and import it into your mainmod - 38 Silvanesti forest areas with nicely put vegetation, music, some with NPC's and quests - 9 Level epic dungeon designed for the KNB PW setting (mind you: The monsters and loot in there will likely have to be adjusted to fit into your PW / mod before you can use them as you want!) which poses a huge challenge for a party of 5 lvl 40 characters! (1 rogue with lockpicking skills required!) - and a word of advice: DON'T rush in there, it's likely to be your death-sentence else :) - 8 bossmonsters that are really hard to beat and come by, so be on your guard! (mind you: Adjustments will likely have to be made to these so they fit into YOUR mod!) - over 120 custom items (weapons, jewelry, staffs, fun stuff even)EACH with a description (apologies for any spelling mistakes in advance!) - the city of "Silvanost" (warning: HUGE area! Personally, I can say we never experienced any crashes with this, though) with temples, shops, Tower of the Stars and Alhanna Starbreeze - Thon-car, a trading outpost in the forest - Inns, Shops, NPCs I think the main charm of this mod are the areas, but look for yourself. In case you want to use any or all of it, I wish you a good time with it. I might, or might not answer to questions regarding it, since I've stopped development of it after KNB went down for good. I hope you guys out there find these things useful and can enjoy them! Please VOTE and COMMENT! |

missing .tlk table
From the module page comments:
"The cep22_v2.tlk is the same as the v1 actually. Copy and paste the cep22_v1.tlk and rename it to cep22_v2.tlk."
I've repackaged the .RAR to include it in the download.
So, I know it's a long shot that anyone will read this, but maybe Lorak will.
Is there any possibility at all of getting a complete download of KNB? I used to play there as Victor Fynolt, Kayn Von Rhauvyr, and a handful of others, and would love to update it for the Enhanced Edition.
This was beautifully put together but virtually empty. There was one small area around the Mirror of Souls Lake where I had to fight three surprisingly tough Cobras, Each gave me 600 XP! But that was it for the roughtly 8-10 areas that I traversed. I did get into the Vault of Horrors and talk with the surviving Guardian. She told me of her plight and warned me to be careful, and I did find a note. The door to go onward was locked tight and that was the end of that! It looked like it was strictly PVP or needed a heavy hand of a DM. Not even any animals or NPCs except the inn keeper with a limited little store and the caravan guy, who charged 5,000 pieces of steel (gold) to bring you into an area that you cannot leave except to pay him another 5,000 GP! And that just brings you back to the Inn, where you started! Weird and a waste of time. No need for a tlk file in this one!
