Description This module is a mini and redesigned version of Diablo - The Remake. Diablo - The Remake was created by Mecha-Ice. This module is focused on the following objectives. 1. Pre Epic game experiences 2. Shorter playtime 3. (Subjective) but more look and feel like the original Diablo. Please set the difficulty settings to D&D hardcore rules, and start with level 1. The recommended classes are: - Tanky multi-classed warriors (the best) - Warrior/AA - Sorc (focused on Evocation) *Wiz is not recommended since you cannot buy or find many scrolls. Since the original Diablo - The Remake allows players to play together, I believe you can play this module with your friends. ---Installation notes:------------ INSTALLATION: Unrar the files using WINRAR 1.30 or higher. Drag the files from the archive and into these folders. *Diablo - Mini (The remake redesigned).mod /modules *diablo v13.hak /hak *DTR_Ending.wbm (or .bik) /movies *DTR_Intro.wbm (or .bik) /movies ---------------------------------- My personal comments: Thanks to Mecha-Ice, who created the excellent module, Diablo - The Remake. I am not a modder nor a person who can writes scripts, but I have been working on this version just to have more fun with my favorite build (I like pre-epic toons and shorter modules). Since it came out pretty good, I would like to share this with some people who may have the similar tastes. What have been changed: - You can beat the module with pre-epic toons. - No grandfather bastard sword, but you can have any kind of end-game weapons. - Overpowered items are removed. - Now Beneathe the church, Catacomb, Cave and Hell have only one level plus side areas. - Foes. Some of them are larger now. Skins and Stats are modified. From the Cave, most of the foes are created from scratch. - Disabling enermies such as Fear, Bigbys are nerfed or comletely disbaled, especially from the Cave. - Death magic (instant kills) is also nerfed or comletely disbaled, especially from the Cave.
