Description | |
The story starts where Part 1 finished: you have completed the first stage of your investigations, and have returned to the Two Feathers Inn to rest for the night, and to gather your thoughts and resources for the journey ahead. Many of the characters which were of help to you this far are still there, and one will call in a favour that you owe. Your journey starts in Haighmarsh, but will take you away from the city, through ravaged farmlands to forbidding forests, gas filled caves and, finally, to the ruined Watchtower which, you hope, holds the answers to many of the questions which surround the disappearance of Rose LeDuget, the Traitor James Fox, the Portrait, and the defection of General Goodsun. As your journey progresses, you may start to suspect some of the terrible truth behind the mystery, but you cannot yet know how far these revelations will take you from the bustle of the once-happy city...... |

Definatly enjoyable
As part one, a nice mod. Maybe the story is a bit less original. The quest with the giants seams to be broken (didn't find the king).
I believe that I have played this before, but again no review is shown. the lack of map pins is a pain, and requires constant typing in of locations. the Rune Pillar idea is a good one, to minimize trekking back and forth if nothing else. Did not get into the whole Forge thingy. The henchie was good and had an okay interface, and at least used some items that you gave her! Amazing. All in all a very nice module with lots to do and a good journal also input from the henchperson.
Very interesting story and a very nice adventure (like part 1)
I seem to have forgotten to post a review for this one, which is unfortunate as I enjoyed it signifantly more than the first module in the series up until the item strip. The issues this creates are entirely felt in the third part, so I'm not letting it impact my score for this part. I think I was very eager to get on with things (thus the lack of review.)
Very unfortunately is that part 3 ends up being a bit of a let down. That said, I do recommend playing through this series at least once.
Just finished playing the series of three modules with my favorite Paladin build.
