UPDATED VERSION, NEAR FINAL! Requires SoU, HotU and CEP 2.00. As you cross the creepy Hullack Forest, you find yourself and a group of adventurers surrounded by zombies. They come from Skelgaunt, a village nearby that has been invaded by hordes of undead. With the help of these three warriors, find out who or what is responsible for this tragedy. A small Hack'n Slash module, which will probably lead to a series. Comments and bug notification is welcome. Thanks! |

Some dialog bugs, but the mod is finishable if you read the walkthrough.
Nice use of the gems. Time consuming, but great puzzle.

I recommend a cleric or paladin for this one. Turn undead is nice for this.
Included 3 henchmen are archer, wizard and melee fighter. Therefore cleric is a nice addition. You can also refuse henchmen.
Anyway some QA:
Played with NWN:EE, so maybe some of the bugs are from that.
- the intro movie did not play (I think with EE the movies need to be in webm, but it's best to have both to keep it compatible with 1.69?)
- Bio Books in henchmen inventories have standard book description..? No bios..
- hench conversations are bugged, sometimes they show up, sometimes they say the lines which are no longer accurate.
- errors in journal, blank journal entry p000 and Category000
- some NPCs are mute (Sarine?, Evelwyn?..)
- conversation with Lomelad stops abruptly after line "What can we do to help them?"
- some doors are openable but have no transition (i.e. side and back doors)
- some cutscenes strip mylittlepony cheat :p (i.e. when teleporting little girl to safety)
- the farm quest does not fire up (all old men in the village and houses are mute). Moreover I think Sarine is still alive..?)
- Orange statue in crypt won't wake up after inserting red and yellow gems to double altars. Attacking it results in breaking factions (i.e. villainous wizaard is hostile). It can also be harmed by all party members and not just the PC with blue gem. This is kind of game-breaking bug.
- "The new of the day" - should be "news" I think (in Tallius Joriin conversation)
- henchmen are immortal (is this intentional?)
- Crates and barrels are overlapping each other in bunker and not all of them can be opened
- Villain wizard (Tallius) escapes and there is no conclusion (was it planned in the sequel?) Same with the treasure of Hayford, where is it?
- Daughter's quest can't be reported after teleporting the kid as her mom does not recognicze the act
- there was no cutscene for scamming the evil nobles with planar gate
- doors to final boss are open before one finds a black gem (as readme suggest it is a key for that)

Wow, thanks a lot for taking the time to playthrough the module. And sorry for not replying before.
I'm actually still updating the module. I began in early 2019 but real life left me with little time to work on it, and also I decided to improve several aspects of the module due to my now improved scripting chops. The bugs you pointed out will be quite valuable for me, even though some of them have been already cleared out. If you're willing to, I invite you to playthrough the update as soon as it is finished, in the near future.
