As mentioned by Gumby42, the female ticket vendor should be the one who gives you the hint to talk to Sharita.
Please note that all ticket vendors should only spawn when the arena is officially open, so, when you enter the arena:

Thank you for your swift reply! Good to hear that the ticket vendor spawns in the arena. That would make sense to me as well. Unfortunately, it seems either this quest or this NPC is bugged for me as no ticket vendor(s) appear in the Arena regardless of the time or date I enter the arena.
- I went to the Arena on the 19th and on the 22th to check both dates.
- I arrived around 15:00 and the arena door was locked. I tried again at 16:00 and 17:00 without resetting the map. Still locked as expected. The moment the calendar showed 19th or 22th with hour 18:00 I could immediately open the arena door and get inside.
- Inside, directly at the entrance there are two unmanned counters on the left and right sides without any ticket vendors.
Do you know of a way I could continue the main quest even without the ticket vendor NPC?
Try to make a save when you are inside the arena, then, close the game and restart it before loading this save. It may solve the problem (i had the same issue with Jacia Cold, the woman who gives assassination missions in the hideout : sometimes, she wasn't there when i came in).
Thanks for the advice Penombre. I went inside (22th day on the 18th hour) and saved the game. Completely closed the game and restarted it then loaded up my save. Unfortunately no ticket vendor spawned. I'm afraid I probably ruined a trigger somewhere.

does the quest continue with going to the gladiator school after talking to her? Shirata told me to go to Mercenary Way where we meet a gladiator there and whatever you decide to do with him, there's nothing else you can do after that . I think if I'm not correct , in previous versions she would automatically be in the arena waiting for you after talking to her in the Lionhead Inn.

I just finished my 3rd playthru (1 with version 2.01). It is an incredible update to one of my favorite games.
Questions and comments.
My turn to have a small problem. SPOILER below
I'm at Tony's house, waiting for him and the sargozians to come back home. He left telling me to have a bath, dress and then wait for him. I'm told by the game that i should wait in the living room. But there is no-one and nothing happens there.
There's an armchair in the bedroom or the next room. Wait there.
Oh, right. I completely discarded the chair in the bedroom because the dialog said to go to the living-room... thank you, Deus :)
I am being lazy, I guess, but could you tell me the order of actions in Castle Crossing? I spent a night in the inn with Pia, found a lot of stuff under wizard's tower, including a kraken and a boat, but what then? Should I have three henchmen from the inn with me? Maybe I missed some entrance to the crypt I know from Valine's original version?
BTW, 2acornupper, I really think you should include the nickname of the original module's author, Valine, in the description. She created this masterpiece from the start, and you are following her footsteps very nicely.
I think the order should be
1. escape cell
2. find "basement" and watch cutscene
3. talk to Castias
4. rest (and get the three henchmen or not - they are not required but make battles easier. When and how they leave depends on to which places you take them.)
5. go to Castias' room
6. talk to Dhorn Emissary about Castias
7. go to Castias' room
8. the rest should be obvious.
I guess it's about timing then, I go to Castius' room after 6. Which cutscene in the basement?

Hey Deus, maybe you already solved it but will answer your questions just in case.

*Rest in the inn on the castle courtyard (you might get some saucy action with Pia here if you played your cards right). When you return to Castias (Castle, upper floor I believe in his own room) you will find him though he might not be able to have the dinner in the way you think.
- I found the boat, the kraken and secret passages under the castle, in its walls and wizard's tower. What else?
*You already secured your escape route then. Make sure to go to the castle courtyard (where the smithy and inn are) and on the left bottom part of the map should be an entrance into what seems like a tower. Hard to explain it's not shown on the map with a named icon. This is Terek's tower and you should confront him.

*I believe we should be able to do something here as well. I couldn't find any secret doors and I couldn't put a vial of blood in the fountain that I found somewhere in the castle so can't help you there.
Yes, solved it. For some reason I had to spend another night in the inn (yep, some action with the lovely Pia), and then when I entered the above mentioned room there was a lot of action and I knew where to run. Thanks anyway!

Hello 2acornupper, this is the best module I ever played, including OC and expansions. You really should work professionally with game creating.
As a perfeccionist, I tried to complete all quest found and had three minor issues:
*SPOILERS*
Golden Chalice: After stabbing Christiano and killing Myra my journal didn’t update. Even after being rewarded by Hyath and leaving the island.
The Punisher: I couldn’t locate “The Carpenter”.
Undertow: after escaping Jacia’s tower I couldn’t find the quest giver (forgot his name). Came back to his bench many days after and he never appeared again.
I also had some problems with factions, some NPCs wich shouldn’t be hostiles (I presume) were. When i entered the inn south of betancuria some of them were already hostile, per example.
*ROLEPLAYING*
Now some ”incoherencces“ and suggestions I want humbly give:
-When Finno proposes the job to the princess he says she will have to make company to the customers, like chatting and maybe other stuff... but the very first one is a crazy priest who really doesn’t want to talk lol. Maybe adding an opportunity to do this quest being able to avoid some sex, without running away and break the mission, would be cool.
-Christiano doesn’t behave as a lawfull good paladin at all. I know it’s your own world & settings, different gods and rules but sameway it felt strange. In my opinion it would make more sense if their roles were reversed, with the princess being the one encouraging the adultery.
-After spending the night with Pia, she mentions something about a search in the mountains. (what mountains??).
Returning to the wizard tower (after The Crossing quest) Pia speculates it was all a dream or reverie. (i think pia uses that drug wich Tony sold to sargovians).
-The meeting with Jero at the end of the game was weird. My princess had to date him many times to finally persuade him to tell about Caron’s killer and arrange the reunion with Simon (I even killed him after Simon lol), but in the end it was like “hey wassaup, remember me?”.
And for the last, my princess survived a throat cut open, some bolts shot in cold blood and a choke followed by fire. Maybe some explanations in the future attached to the thirteen god?
That’s all, thank you again for you dedication and wonderful module! Forgive my bad english :)

- some strage convos may be leftovers from previous versions. What 2acornupper did is a massive overhaul and rewriting of the old ADWR mod from Valine, which in itself had different versions and also a few leftovers (in the current iteration, Pia speaking about searching the mountains is a good example).

Is there any way to retreive your items after the vault quest with Simon?
I noticed that the instructions specify that Hak files should be placed in Neverwinter Nights\data\hk for EE. Should this be in Documents\Neverwinter Nights\hak or does it really need the hak files to be placed in Beamdog or Steam's data\hk directory?

As far as I am aware in EE no user created files should go in any of the folders under Neverwinter Nights\data. Such folders are for BeamDog files only. Any user created files placed there are liable to disappear with the next update/patch. User created files are supposed to go under the user's \Documents\Neverwinter Nights folder.

*SPOILER REGARDING QUEST*
I have a question regarding the following quest "Welcome Home". After escaping the battle at the Bearpit and reuniting in a tavern called Barich's tavern we find out that some of our companions from the Bearpit were captured. Little Timmy mentioned they are being interrogated as he overheard some Dhorns saying this. At this point the quest mentioned we can wait and see or try to find someone who has access to classified Dhorn information.
*Wait and see*
I've resumed sleeping 4 days in a row and going to Alfons in Barich's tavern every day during these four days. He never gives an update on Master Nathan's situation. I skipped two complete weeks ahead and went back to the tavern. Sure that our companions are probably dead at this point and still Alfons has no update. I guess our princess has to take action herself.
*try to find someone who has access to classified Dhorn information*
I went to the Merchant's quarter and accessed Capital hill. I investigated the following places:
- Prison cells, murdered all the Dhorn in revenge. Could only find a drunk in a cell who told me to "go away and leave him alone" when I unlocked his prison cell.
- Dhorn Headquarters. Murdered the complete Headquarters. Found stairs leading downwards to the interrogation room. I'm pretty sure this is where they are being held captive but there is only a single door protected by a device. It's not bashable or unlockable and I don't have the key.
- After murdering everyone at the headquarters and a few patrols who happened to see me in Capitol Hill every single Dhorn in the WHOLE CITY has now turned hostile to me in all quarters and all areas both inside and outside. I decided this is quite logical and so I continue this RP even though it makes movement through the city a lot more difficult.
- I went to Tald tavern and Jero is not there (I let him live after killing Simon). I didn't really expect him to help me again after what I did to Simon and Reyne and Marric but he was my only lead for Dhorn information.
*Problem*
I visited some innkeepers also but I feel stuck at this point. Can anyone living in this city provide a girl with some advice as to how to save my companions?

after the conversation with Alfons at Barich's the module rolls a d8() dice which determines the amount of time it takes for the other Family members to resolve the quest. It looks like you got unlucky and got a rather high number. Basically, you have to talk to Alfons at Barich's on different days until that d8() number is hit. Each attempt reduces the d8() by one, so keep trying.
Reflecting on this, I may change the d8() to d4() in the future.
The "elegant" way to resolve the quest is to talk to Quin at the Dhorn Administration, presuming the Risky Business quest was successfully completed. Then you don't need to wait until the others have figured out how to proceed.

Thanks for the quick replies always. Yeah I told Quin about the way into Capital hill but I never found the officer's armor. No problem, I'll go back and forth for a while then. Interesting technical point that the "wait and see" is not dependent on d8 days passed but on d8 times talked to Alfons. I know what to do now Master Nathan here I come!
2acornupper, thank for all this hard work. Love this. Because of bug-catching you mentioned, there is one (or something to report).
At Capitol hill, there are 2 Fancy House. One (SPOILER with general for Jacia quest SPOILER) is OK, but second house with staircaise in front of the door is missing textures in my gameplay.
It accured in old instalation with lots of modules and still no texture with clear (new) instalation.I put part of CEP 2.65 (mentioned earlier in posts) in hak folder. Playing GOG 1.69 Diamond Edition.

Also in Mayor House some problems with maps and "visibility" of structures. In room, everything is OK, but no update about rooms/bulding structure at maps.
mmm... i have a little problem with the Behind Closed Doors quest. Spoilers beyond this point.
So, basically, i stole explosives from Felgen Mining Company, killed everyone in the Steel building and used explosives to destroy everything in sight (the devices, the workbenches, everything).
Apparently, this wasn't how i should have done this ;) Or there's a glitch ?

Just finished this module. Loved it a lot! Was well written from start to end cannot recommend it enough to everyone. I checked out Part Two but I see it seems to give some people trouble on the Enhanced Edition which is unfortunately the only version of NwN I have.
Would you recommend downloading part two and playing it though on EE never the less or is it smart to wait for a update similar to this module?
Any advice? Don't want to have to start all over again!
When I leave the school after killing all the gladiators in the Uncover The Dhorn Spies quest, I get teleported to the Bear Pit but Vico is still in my party and the dialog that fires with Nathan is the standard curtsy/greetings dialog. The journal doesn't update, it still just says I've found the spy's body and need to report to Nathan. Playing the first version of the mod with hot fixes.
Any idea how to proceed? Loving the overhaul so far!
It should have fired. (It did for me) Do you have a save you could reload?
I tried reloading a save before going with Sharita to meet the gladiator, same thing happened again unfortunately.
Just to check... There are 18 gladiators that you need to fight. Once that number is hit, there should be a text stating that that should be all of them, and Vico should initiate some dialogue. If you then return to Nathan, the quest should conclude.
Yep, the counter hits zero and Vico says we should leave. When I walk out the door I'm teleported back to Nathan's room with Vico still in the party — Timo and Cata are removed — but the quest doesn't update and no special dialog fires with Nathan. I've tried leaving via the front door and the sewers, same thing.
I honestly have no idea how this could happen, but to close this quest, when you're in Nathan's room, enter DebugMode and then type:
dm_runscript do_reward_doglad
dm_runscript do_despawn_navic
Your journal won't be updated but that shouldn't prevent you from continuing.

2. I went to do lesson 6 in the wizard tower, clicked the tube and now all my items are gone including the clock so i can't finish it. What do i do?

thankyothankyouthankyouthanyou for this amazing update/overhaul of one of the best cRPGs I've ever played. My princess is slowly inching her way through the amazing v2.01, frequently stopping just to gawk at all the shiny new content.
As for the 64,000 gold piece question (dare I ask it..?): are you planning a similar overhaul for Part 2? Please? Pretty please, with sugar on top?
I really like this. Some feature additions are rather nice.
Though i do not like the new sex cutscenes. The descriptive text was way better and you could skip it more easily. The models do not look good. It is an old game so not much to look at. A good game with a notable flaw.
Ifyou go into the swordfish you are hard locked out of the building. Which kinda makes it impossible if you get the quest to deliver a bag to a patron after going inside.
as far as i remember, the Swordfish is open only at night. It's one of those old things from the original mod i never liked much and which survived the different iterations (the most annoying being a quest when you need to enter the Arena which is only open on *certain* nights)
Thanks you were right I must not have waited long enough. Most of the other shops give hours when they are closed.

Okay, i finished my first playthrough. Here is an extensive personal review, with spoilers, of course.
* the general mood more accurately reflects an occupied city than the previous iterations by Valine, and the "guild" operates more like it should probably in those circumstances.
* the optional food/rest system is tedious, but it's optional.
* the beauty salon options seems a bit weird. For example, i can pay for an hair color change that will last forever, even if i go underwater, go outdoors,etc, while shaving my pussy means regularly having to do it again (or else, there is something that sometimes misfire when you have to change clothes or skins, and the nude skin reverts to the default unshaved skin, as it seems more tied to the fact i switch from stealth/combat clothing to dresses when i leave houses/dungeons to cross streets).
* the dhorn patrols are bothersome, which is believable in itself (and apparently tied to what kind of clothing you wear), but still, a few hours in the game, i just hit ESC and ignored them when they repeatedly accosted me and apparently were able to spot the most minute stolen potion or pairs of panties, as if by magic ;)
* the new quests are nice, and most of the reworking of previous existing quests also. For some reason (unless it's intentional ?) some new locations don't have a minimap, and it's quite frustrating, even though it's not really problematic.
About some quests :
- the Kingdom of Shadows : i choose to give the book to the priest on the Isle of Dead, and it was kind of anticlimactic, although, it's a closure of sorts. I wonder if you had something in mind in case the princess kept the book for herself.
- Missing citizens : i never found out what happened to them (i thought for a time this might be Reyne and his pal, who have their own little private dungeon and are just homicidal sadists, but nope, wasn't them).
- the carpenter who betrayed the guild : it seems something is missing for this quest, as i'm not the first player to say i couldn't complete it. Or else, there is some clue/dialog in a place i didn't thought about.
- Behind closed doors : i destroyed all the devices and workbenches and killed everyone in the Steel factory, by using explosives i stole from Felgen, but the quest never updated. Retrospectively, i guess i was supposed to sabotage the devices after dispatching the people here, but i'm not even sure it would have worked. Anyone managed to complete this one ?
- Castle Crossing : probably the only disappointment for me. After the baron died, and i surrendered my weapons that i never found again, i kept visiting people being killed in their own rooms. I managed to kill the Kraken, explore all the secret passages and find the boat, i learned about the hostages,but couldnt meet them or speak about them to anyone, and when i was caught in Castias' room (the dialogs says he's dead, but you must enter the room to fire this part, and there is no body that i could see), i fought my way through Terek and the guards, then, decided i had nothing more to do and simply left the place. Apparently, i missed the "true" resolution of this quest but i don't know what clues i overlook or if it was time-sensitive. Also, i never found Terek and his paramour, together or alone, once i was out of my cell.
All things and little frustrations being said, it's a really good job you've done, and i hope you'll provide us with a Part Two with more ties to your new Part One than the latest Valine iterations.

"behind closed doors" you probably missed one of the items to destroy. Workbenches, tubes, etc. <TAB> to see if you are missing anything. Once all devices are destroyed, you will get a message you are complete.
Castle Crosssing: Your gear is stored in a room near the dog pen,near your cell.
*spoilers* Also, regarding "Behind closed doors": if you wait 'till nightfall, the old steel mill is empty except for one guard. No need to kill civilians…
