Description | |
The village of Shadowrock labors under the yoke of unknown evils that walk the night mists, leaving the corpses of villagers for the morning light. They are the victims of a strange plague which has always haunted this sleepy valley, and so it has ever been say the Shadowrock elders. You have lived unquestioning like the rest, surrendering the dead to the Gravekeeper who watches the forbidden tombs of the forest. Then one morning everything changes when the dreaded night ills strike your own family down. A road of fateful decisions, whispered questions and bloody vengeance lies ahead. With all the forces aligned against your struggle, you are but a candle in the dark. |

This is the best dark module I've ever played!
This is the advantage of a new vault... new voting, new slate, etc.
Is it possible to choose between multiple paths in order to get multiple endings?
Did the votes reset?
No, but new system was employed to tie the votes with the user's comment.
Wonderful module. One of the best Dark/Twisted modules I played no doubt. Great story and writing, area and level design, and gameplay in general.
Played with a first level Druid, ended with a Druid 5 / Fighter 1, challenges were all well-balanced (except maybe early fear auras).
Divine spellcasters (Cleric / Druid) with strong melee (martial) capabilities works best for this module, followed by straight up melee classes (Figher / Monk), then Arcane Spellcasters (Sorc, Wiz) due to limited resting and buggy henchmen levelling.
A few bugs"
- Henchmen levelling not working, have to leave them behind or they just drag you down.
- Final area placable conversation can sometimes fail for no reason.
- A useful amulet can be completely missed if a diagloue option is not selected the first time.
