Act out the tale o' the caitiff, a wretched outlaw on the run, as he or she wakes in the temporary safety of the 'Red Dragon' inn within the town of Vinaire. Not all is as it might seem, a friend might prove to be a foe and a haven might prove to be a nest of villainy. The caitiff shall either evade his or her destiny or forge it anew!
Playable only on the build 8193.36 of the Enhanced Edition of Neverwinter Nights. All Premium Modules REQUIRED
Commentary: This module is meant for players above the age of 16. It is meant to be a mature experience, akin a tragedy, although may be light hearted at times, especially now, in its early development phase. Although you pick your species and class, all are available, your character is set to be the hero/heroine or antihero/antiheroine of the story. Fair warning, use the glossary below if you do not know basic Archaic English.
Placeholder notes: The Omega Build seems to be finished, it does not mean the module is, not at all. I hope to multiply the areas, characters, dialogues and scripts by at least a two digit number before the Final Release build. The current build will advance towards Alpha and the Final Release through the entirety of the Greek alphabet. The demo as of this update includes: A guardian, countless ways to die, four quests including an easter egg one. The module should have a semblance of playability by this point. I became proficient in the easier variety of scripting available in the Aurora Toolset as of this build. The movie is there only for the error that happens upon the E not to fire. It didn't load for me. It's a 4 second logo. Other than that, I've just discovered the best option available in the Aurora Toolset! In the main toolbar, on the far right, there is the Help option. Within, there is the About option. The license for creating modules is presented there.
And p*rn*graphic modules are not allowed. While that exact type of modules seems to be allowed here, on the NwVault? I saw quite a lot since browsing the website after the release of HotU. I feel despair that this is how this fantastic community ended up. And so, I'll be taking a break from being here. Regardless, I hope everyone might have fun with the demo of Caitiff, the Adventure Game. D&D 3.5 FTW! Later.
Glossary: thou, thee - you / thy - your / thine - yours / dost - do / doth - does.

Placeholder post, please do not rate the omega build...
Your module's premise sounds MIGHTY INTERESTING! :D You've got yourself a download. ^_^
By the way, I'm curious: I've never heard of an Omega Build before. What is that? I've heard of Alpha- and Beta builds before, but never Omega. I like it, though. ;)
EDIT 1: What character level have you designed for? Since it isn't stated, I'll assume it is for a level 1 character. Let me us know if that isn't the case! :)
And if you could add that info to the module description (just here on the vault will suffice), that would be awesome! :)
EDIT 2: I started the mod with a Ranger, then I realized that I couldn't equip the bastard sword because of this, so I'm going with a plain fighter instead. Did you design the module with any specific class in mind?
Adding that info to the description would help too. :)
& letting players know that the Weapon Proficiency (exotic)-feat (which is required to wield Bastards Swords) is needed, would be great, as well. :)
I like your writing so far! :D
EDIT 3: Well, that was a bummer, I was looking forward to a bit more gameplay. ;) Unless there is more to do after the cellar quest? Because that's how far I got until I couldn't proceed any further in the module.
But of what I can see and tell, this is your first module, right? No worries, we all start somewhere. ^_^ I like your "old-english-style" writing -- it was impressive! :) And I liked how you designed the look of the characters to fit with the character portraits + how you gave the player uniquely designed outfits, items and weapon. Your choice of music was good too. And the plot that was, intrigued me. Thumbs up!
Here's some bugs:
Summary: It's clear this is your first try and I'd say, keep on modding man! :) With more module building practice, I think you can make something great with this! :)
Quick Module Building Tips:
I wish you the best of luck in your future module building, and I'll keep and eye out for more stuff from you! :)

Birger's NWN 1 Hall of Fame Awarded DARK FANTASY Stories:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Answer 1: It was designed for all species and classes. Level 1.
Answer 2: Well, yes. You might have the problem of the older update? I'll try to update once per day with proper additional content. It must've been a bug that the belt in the chest in your character's room wasn't "Your belt".
Answer 3: This mod is a demo so far, I'm learning to script. I already have Lilac Soul's Gen and a ton of guides. Something akin 500 pages A4? No way that I'll read that quickly. The NwN Lexicon is a life saver for someone learning the Toolset.
General Answers: The bugs that you have mentioned should all be fixed as of right now.
And so, thou hast my eternal gratitude for enjoying my script. I am actually a self-published writer with one novel fully finished. If you like my literary style, maybe check it out? It's enough to search for my nickname in the browser. At least, should be so. By the end of the week, I should have the city around the inn done. At least, I hope so. Regardless, there is no team yet, only me learning to script with no prior experience in the field of coding nor using the Aurora Toolset. Once more, thank you.
Mmmm, nice start. Locking forward for the finished module.
Pretty fun. I like the medieval setting of it, like with the inn, and then the rustic village.
I'm not sure what kind of story you have in mind, but I was thinking maybe the brigands shouldn't be set hostile, but do actually approach you to steal from you. And you enter a dialogue with them, and you can play it a number of ways, one which turns them hostile, and it ends like it currently does.
But, maybe you could ask about "a place to sell your own stolen things", and it leads you to a hidden thief guild. That could lead to burglary jobs (sneaking into homes, and... Actually, there could be proper missions you get from the thief guild, and it's to steal a set item, breaking in, and retreiving it. They could be dynamic missions, if you're into that kind of thing.
Anyway, maybe there could be a thief guild. But, maybe there could also be a little lordling somewhere, and you could get in good with them, if you're a good-type. There could even be a job -- eradicate the pesky thief guild.
Anyway, well have to see where this goes. I do like that it's raining when you get out into the village. That companion should make comments about how she doesn't like the rain falling on her.
