Description | |
The first instalment of an epic tale. You have just reached your adulthood and today you are to be declared the heir apparent of the King of Gaeldornia. Just one simple ceremony and you can leave the castle and put all the skills you have learnt to the test. You wake on the morning of your investiture, your destiny awaits... Chapter One is Sudden Death be prepared to save regularly. I've built in an auto-save feature after the level-up routine, so be careful what abilities you choose. It is designed to be played STRICTLY as a fighter. Not wanting to give too much away a certain item you acquire will eventually enable to indulge in other types of gameplay. The Mod is now finished (fingers-crossed). I hope you enjoy playing it. Chapter Two shouldn't take as long now I've got the hang of the toolset. Now Updated for CEP 2.1. Gameplay tweaked considerably. It should be less easy to get stuck in this version. The convo's & journal entries have been smoothed out. TILESET CREDITS: CTP Dungeon LOK & CTP Elven Interior DOA City/Rural Builder Base RLCore Gothic Interiors 1.4 The thanks for that goes mainly to Melody for her excellent input during playtesting. XXX toots. PS: Follow the conversations & journal carefully and try not to rush it. You'll stay alive longer that way... PPS: Thanks largely to Lord_Frederic_DQ I think I've got all the worst bugs out. PPPS: VISTA USERS, do all your downloads and unraring from a fully priviledged admin user account. [THX AXE ;)] PPPPS: The comments contain a lot of spoilers. You might want to avoid them until you've played the mod. An optional GUI (Game Interface) I created using the brilliant Gothic one the bods at Ravenloft created. I like it but then I'm biased. Just bung it in your override folder if you fancy a change. module delevels
I liked it, and you can get some gear, which is somewhat rare in these dungeon strippers! Hard to get the other prisoners out, never met the Executioner, not sure if it is possible. And I finally ended up in my own bathroom not able to leave! Frustrating.
Just replayed this module and really enjoyed it as you can tell from my 10 star rating. All seemed to work, (unlike my first go-around!) and there was some gear to be had (not much!). The Heirlooms were a bit underwhelming but they were not really of any use at this point. This was very linear but not a big deal as it fit the tale. The story line was excellent and evolving and the different mini-quests that had to be done were well thought out. I think the only issue that I had was you had to save very often because you could really break things if you clicked on the wrong conversation at the wrong time. The efforts to save your girlfriend come to mind, as I had to redo this section a few times to get it to progress properly. Neat history lesson with the kings also.
A great module and well worth the strip and such. I guess no possiblity of the next chapter after all these years?
