Welcome back or welcome for the first time (as appropriate) to the lands of the Bastard of Kosigan.
It’s been more than ten years since the last time I opened the toolset, but I’m glad Jean Baudrand did it for me. This compilation which should allow to play the 6 original modules is his work. I hope you will find as much fun playing as possible.

Has the save file show-stopper been addressed?
Hmmm, the flaw I adressed here:

is still there. Missing spaces in a 2da could cause the problem, but I got no confimation from the cummunity, that it solves the problem in general.
I think the publisher should tell us what he did to the code ...
Wait, you mean Beamdog or the author of this module? I think the problem was present long before the EE was released. It's an issue with the hakpacked, custom content rather than the game itself. On the other hand, are you saying you downloaded the new release and the issue remains?
I'm talking of this package here. There is a readme inside which may make the backgrounds more clear. This readme should better located outside the huge package for separate download..
I simply checked the bastard_hak.hak in the new release herefor the known fault, which cases the crash (i.m.o.) and it's still there.
The chapter 2 crash on load was something that EE didn't suffer with since the start. That was one of my first noticed improvements switching from 1.69 to EE, (Bastard and Harpers Tale part 1 both being near unplayable on 1.69 dut to bugs in introduced to the original.)
I'm sorry if you encounter crash, or remaining bugs. The package has been tested on both version, so I'm surprised. Maybe Bioware made change in the FR version that allow english chapter 2 to be launched and not in ENG NWN. Fabien became a famous writer, the bastard of kosigan saga is a huge succes in France. Not sure he will open NWN again to fix bugs. This package is just my last work for Kosigan (convert intro for E:E). I just want my daughter to find an easy place to replay it. :)
The BoK modules have always comprised one of my favorite user-built NWN1 adventures. I am delighted to see that Jean Baudrand continues to work on them, and I will fire up this version to check it out as soon as I can.

WAAAAAAAAAA!!!! Will someone please translate Les Lions Diffames? My French is pretty horrible and it wasn't great when I was using it on a somewhat regular basis in college. I played Les Lions Diffames in French once over a decade ago when my French was slightly less terrible, but I still had a tough time. What's Ginni doing nowadays? Is she busy? LOL
If I try and muddle through Les Lions Diffames again, does it work with EE and will the character from Les Lions Diffames transfer over to the new EE English version of Exile?

I don't know if Ginny will ever come back working on Kosigan, we are still in contact but Fabien became a famous writer and don't ask her to work on Lions. anyway I think it will be possible for you to play Lion FR and import your character in Exile Eng, The Quest object's item in your inventory in Lions were done for unreleased module in Rome, so it won't change anything in the available modules. Have fun.
I get an error when I try to start any of the modules. It says "Module May Be Corrupt". I tried to compile Exile in the toolset and got dozens of errors. I've tried downloading twice. Current version of EE.
Works fine for me in the latest Retail EE version 83.8193.27.
Are you sure the message wasn't "Module may be corrupt or was created using a new version of the toolset"? That would normally indicate that you have an older version.
If that's not it, try removing overrides, then reinstalling NWN. If all else fails, maybe the Beamdog service desk can help.
Sorry if you encounter problem, as said in the manual, it's really important to not have other module, or over tlk, overide files. I've tested it on EE on the version available at the time of publishing on vault. Please try it on a fresh install without other modules installed.
I feel like an idiot, the problem was that the movies folder was named movie..
I have a question - when I load the Blood and Tears module, it seems to misinterpret the state my game is in, as I should be Baron, not Regent. Is it just ignoring your choices at this point, or something's not working in my save?
Sorry for answered late: have you try to restore your previous choice in the starting area (girl in icy or sand area) maybe one of your previous choice used a custom token that you have lost in your inventory (be sure to not loose them by putting all of them in a reserved box). Even in the french version a lot of bug occurs within the enhanced edition, Most of the time I can't entrer some area because the quest is not trigger) Hope you'll find fun to play it.
Having crashes in all of the modules on start. The tipical "The module may be corrupt" bullshit. Any help?
@Drikaukal As reported above, the problem may be that the source includes a folder named "movie" which should be "movies".
If that doesn't work, ensure you installed all the files in the correct document folders (not installation folders like hk or whatever) and remove custom content from override etc.
So has anyone actually been able to play the first module Exile of the West to completion? Problem I run into is the Cardinal and Willie Stein are both basically immortal so at the end they get in this neverending battle. My character gets slaughtered if I go anywhere near them. This time I sided with the Prince but I was supposed to let the Cardinal kill the witches. But that can't happen because Willie is invincible.
I'm not familiar enough with the toolset to know if there's a console command I can do to force willie to die.
Hi : even I in the french version I had more problems playing the modules within the enhanced version than the vanilla. Lot of problem with trigger/door area and like you conversation trouble. For the battle between both, maybe you've pressed ESc during the battle and broke a dialogue script. As I said in the readme save often. despite it will not fix the area transition pb I encounter. Beamdog seems to have failed to deliver a frozen in ice neverwinter engine.
Did you try the fixes?
The EE .35 development version might be better, but I haven't made time to test it yet.

I've tried your fixes , pick with the GUI the door that don't work and applied the script on it and it returns that it repaired 0 transitions. I've tried bh_eedoor and I don't have any message from this scrip.t is it normal? it still doesn't work. my guess in this case is the tag name of the destination that contain a french accent on the letter e. I don't have enough skill to know if it will ruin something if I chaged this (I'm not the author of the module, just the intro movie guy) cheers.
The scripts should be run on the PC, as they're compatible with dm_runscript.
bh_eedoor doesn't produce a message IIRC but is less likely to help as Beamdog probably fixed that issue.
No sure about accents, sorry.
A few issues I noticed with the files besides the movies folder being incorrectly named movie.
1. There's a bunch of bik files also in the movies folder. NWN:EE users might want to remove these files.
2. There's module files sitting in the portraits folder. These appear to be duplicate files and can be deleted.
3. The erf file is a builder resource and not going to be used when playing the game. It can be removed.
4. There's a bunch of overrides to make the prestige classes available. They may or may not cause issues with other modules such that you should make note of what the files are and not just dump them into the override folder. There's a couple of other modules that also use overrides. This folder can easily turn into a mess.
Sachie: Thanks, this archive is for both version vanilla or EE, so I know it's not just a easy click to install archive, the portraits files the erf foldes contains portraits made by Fabien and a comic designer and are available as it was on the vault at that time, consider it as a time capsule that freeze Kosigan as it was. tha'ts why I set "remain as is" when upload it. Fabien will be the only one to decide if he want to edit something. I just did it because it was a real mess to look at all these links. and after seeing the automatic converter for intro movie, I though it was better to remastered it from from original files that was clearly above the required standard of vanilla edition (rendered in 2k at this era). I haven't resolved the problem with wrong entrance side that corrupt some transition area, it worked on vanilla, so it's up to beamdog to fix it. Extra folder is just for fan, and maybe will be used by journalist to make cover of this wondeful saga. Long live to all Kosigan Fans around the world, don't forget to read the books (only in french for the moment)

Yes Proleric provide help but it doesn't fix it.
Unfortunately, my ability to read French is rather flaky. I'd be able to read it outloud to someone else as I've always found French to be very easy to pronounce, but I wouldn't understand all the words that I'd be saying. I'm going to have to wait and see if the books ever get translated to English then released in the US.
Oh and my prior post was primarily for the benefit of NWN:EE end users that might find themselves a bit short on hard drive space. There's just some extra files that could be tossed.
