Description | |
This is a short, sharp game that should last exactly twelve minutes! You're in command of a squad of kobold skirmishers and two military engineers with a ballista, the new Mark3 High Impact XXL Crossbow. You've taken up position on a ridge overlooking the road where an orc army is about to arrive. Someone is going to have A Bad Day in the Desert! The key element (and fun part!) of the game is the ballista, which you control by shouting "LEFT!", "RIGHT!", "LOAD!", and "FIRE!" at the crewmen. It fires a bolt in a straight line, skewering anything in it's path for a whopping 100 piercing damage. That's enough to kill anything in the game with a single hit! Unfortunately, you've only got 80 bolts, and you need to take out 20 of the enemy ogres to win (out of 25 ogres in total). Not as easy as it sounds, because there's a whole army of orcs about, and they tend to get in the way! If you let more than 5 ogres get by you, they will crush the gates of the capital city you're defending... Winning condition: Take out 20 or more of the enemy ogres with the ballista. We hope you enjoy this little killfest! This is a teaser for the upcoming TLMP game/demo, which will feature both large battles and intricate roleplay. |

should last exactly twelve minutes! - time limits are too pressuresome for me.
If you press SPACe the game will pause.
You also don't go anywhere when the game is paused either.
Yeah, but the game literally is aiming the ballista via conversation and you don't have to go anywhere..
Pretty fun, but impossible task(at least for me). Would love to see it made into real module not just "proof of concept".
Not my style but it was a good effort.
