Arandie is a young elven assassin living in a large city of Misdahl. Her life goes on day by day, until one fairly ordinary mission changes everything. This is a story-based module, bearing closer resemblance to an adventure game than a CRPG. There is combat, but most of it can (and should) be avoided. There is a main quest to be followed, but there are also many subquests to make the world feel more real and alive. This is a grey world, nothing is black and white. It is also a large world, and the time it takes to finish the game depends a lot on how many sidequests you want to try. The story has some very serious undertones, yet there is room for warmth and humor as well. Contains scenes and hints of oppressive violence and sexual situations, of which the 'adult' stuff can be pretty much bypassed altogether by picking the correct choices in the correct places.

2014-09-26:
The most recent version of the module (v1.04 - lost by the old nwvault a 7 years ago and being replaced by v1.03 since that - see related topic: Link) is finally here - thanks to Dimmest!
2014-10-22:
Another file, which was present in the v1.04 download (randi104.zip) file: Updates.txt (Version History) - was added; thanks to: BangedAgate.
Also: the authenticity of v1.04 (of the module) is now confirmed by two different sources. ;)
How do I solve Rammez quest peacefully? How do I help the bootlegger deal with the city authorities?
This mod is a Pearl.
If you can accept the predifined PC and the adult content and want to play the bad-ass, then give it a try.
@deus666 (maybe you read this eventually or anyone else is interested): Go to the city hall, locate the archive at the second floor, fetch the file (invisible-mode suggested)
I really dig this mod... first played it a long, long, long time ago and decided to give it another go. One thing that I've never quite figured out though is the "complex" that the mining company has you check out... is something supposed to actually happen when you pull the right combination of levers? Or does the machine just not work anymore? Anyone have a clue? I realize this is kind of a shot on the dark given the age of the mod, but figured I'd at least ask :D
Hello
As far as I can say from looking into the scripts, nothing will happen. There are just some colorful effects.
Vg, mm
I don't know if I've made wrong choices somewhere, but by the middle of the adventure or so, it gets downright boring. The NPC's give you the same lines, conversations rarely if ever change. In the druid encampment you can't get the fenberry bush to open a inventory window. I don't know if the story even supports going after the WC when you choose to work for Angel. At this point I'm just going to give up on it, tired of running back and forth hoping something changes. I mean I got into the story at the start and wanted to follow her adventures, but it's turned into a grind with no adventure.
It's obvious, that it was not in the autors intention to create a standard campaign with some sidequests. It's more a collection of sidequests and events with a small main story. It is easy to get stuck without a clue what to do next. I'm not surprised, that many people don't like the mod for that reason.
If you wish, I can give you a pointer, but I need to know, which quest you are trying to solve.
It appears to be the main story plot, trying to get some kind of response from Angel after Tassu reveals that the daughter of Jurro died years before after the attempted assassination by the imposter. Also after investigating the Knives hideout I can't get any kind of different response from Tassu. Also, like I said, I can't get the fenberry bush to open a inventory window so I can get the berries, I tried it from every direction and destroyed the nearby nettle so I could get to it from the back. I also found it difficult to get Gallien into the cellar, He kept getting interrupted by other customers walking in front of him and by his stopping to take a drink. I had to keep speaking to him to get him to move and that usually got just a few steps if anything.
Hello
afaik, there is no reponse from Angel after revealing that Jurros daughter is dead. But the meeting with the Bad Guys will playout somewhat different.
The Fenberry-bush in Deep Forest is bugged. There are some bushes at Tobin Farm, if you need Fenberry ...
There won't bee more quests from Tassu after the Knifes.
I never had any problem with Gallien, sorry, i can't help here.
Doesn't go anywhere for me
Okay, got the poison, did the deed, and now all that's left is off to the southern continent after all this. Sorry, I really wanted more to it than that. It ended just when things were getting interesting. I wanted more on the WC quest. I was ready to take it on, a piece at a time. Personally I'm a bit disappointed by the sudden cesstation of the main and many of the subplots. The module had great potential, but left me flat at the end.
This is one of the best non-linear city modules that I've ever played!
I don't mind the premade PC since I totally love her!
fun with a decent pre-made character
i finally found adult mod with non human main character, i thought other races don't needed anymore, other adult mods on this vault "human only"
This looks like it has a great deal of potential, but I can't find the White Cross Temple basement for Karplok's job. I'm guessing it's because I used a custom character and need more lockpicking? Otherwise I don't see how to progress.
The first key (to the 2nd floor) is somewhere in a backroom of the main floor of the temple, the second (to the basement) in a cabinet.
The only 'complaint' I have is that it was too short. Arandi is a great premade character:)
