Alleyslink's Persistent World Base (APWB) v2.0. Simple to use, well documented using only Bioware database functions. Persistent quests and banking, respawning monsters and traps, merchant, box and area cleaners, death and respawn system, henchmen and templates galore.
This module has fully incorporated Knat's Persistent Quests & Journal Entries and provides numerous template objects to streamline quest production. Speak to Alleyslink for a simple test quest which shows them in action.
Unlike previous versions of my PW Base, this module fully supports NWN 1.69 and mounts for transitions (including portals) and events (like death and resting).

Alleyslink"s Persistent World Base Module (APWB) v2.0
This version does not use NWNX, MySQL or DMFI. It does not require any haks. NO CEP VERSION

Alleyslink"s Persistent World Base Module (APWB) v2.0 CEP Version
Clearly, this version require CEP v2.6 Thanks to The Amethyst Dragon and all CEP's contributors, past present and future.
A quick visit to the CEP page shows me there is an update to the TOP hak, which I didn't use here, but if you have it on your system you will be fine,
if not visit the CEP page linked above and download the fix.
If you are using CEP and want placeable blueprints, Lovellin has constructed a collection of ERFs.
This version does not use NWNX or MySQL. It will support DMFI and it requires CEP 2.6
The haks are installed but not all the palette stuff. I only extracted the scripts needed for Sparky's Spawner, the CEP logo placeable and the script zep_onoff. If you import "cep24_add_sb_v1.erf" you can either choose to overwrite files or not, I have not altered them.
Why Sparky's? Well, a couple reasons. It is included in CEP already, it spawns not only creatures, but also placeables and items, and even traps to a limited extent. Also it allows for spawning groups of creatures from one encounter, or to choose from a list. Finally if you are making a PW where people intend to DM events your encounters will be available with DMFI and other DM tools.
Why Scarface's Respawning Traps? I can't seem to find a way to respawn traps on doors using Sparky's but Scareface's handles this. So if you want my advice, Scarface for traps and SParky for everything else.
Added John "Gestalt" Bye's cutscene and camera system because it is bomb. I personally hate cutscenes but there are certain times when I want to control what players see using his Fixed Camera scrip.

These modules and guides assume the user / reader has familiarity with Tag Based Scripting, module events and use of variables If you use my PW Base Module as a basis for your mod, give me a link and let people know about this page. If you like the individual systems included, please vote for the original authors, I have provided links where possible.
This module will be the base for my upcoming module, if you find any bugs please let me know here so I can fix them.
Special thanks to Thunderstorm Witch for pointing out that my Monk Henchman was of the wrong alignment and therefore would not level. I also fixed the problem with NWC_Snake's Merchant Cleaner.

Did you come here looking for a Hard Core PnP Base Module? Let me suggest the best
Vuldrick’s Universal Base Module (everything and CEP 2.3 friendly)
Mannast's Vanilla Basemodule for building (Also very good.)
Both are well documented, which is good because you will need a PhD. to learn the intricacies of those behemoths, both of which clock in at 14 MBs as base modules without an ounce of story in them. Both Base modules use Knat's Persistent Quest Journals and Scarface's Persistent Banking, like mine and my Base module is 2 MB with two big areas you trash right away when using.
I played PnP starting in 1984, I played all the classic D&D CRPGs, I had NWN on pre-order at a store called Electronics Boutique, which I guess became EB Games somewhere along the line. I quit NWN only after my disappointment with NWN2 (No Horses?). Then I played WoW for 6 or 7 years and if you played alliance in the Whirlwind Battlegroup then you got killed by Bhadazz (me).
I know what video gamers want, cause I am a video gamers.
If builders were gonna use systems as complicated as those they would use the best.
Project Q or
World of Sinfar haks
Both of those systems dramatically improve the quality of NWN and are equally as complex as the aforementioned Base Modules.
Alleyslink's Persistent World Base APWB v2 is designed to be a simple skeleton upon which casual builder's create for casual players.
I'm looking for a separate version of the Merchant Cleaner, any chance for that?
Edit: Nevermind, I've found the script on the pdf ^^
I am not sure if you are still around but i just wanted to state that i made this account mostly to come here a write and say that this download was well put together and i love using it so far!
