Love old school conversions. Will give it a try.
Again DennMan, don't give the module a stellar 10 star rating without even playing it! These ratings are taken very seriously by the Vault and should be a guide to players that want to try a mod out. After playing, then you can give a rating and review hopefully, that will reflect your gaiming experience. There is no standard rating system that I have seen, but I give 5-6 for a subpar effort that is not playable for one reason or another, usually a dead end that you can't escape! Still give some points for the work that was required to even do one of these! I give a 7 for a run of the mill smaller and simpler module that plays okay with no broken parts, but nothing special. Then 8 is a fun module that has some adventure to it and perhaps something different and unique to offer. 9 stars I reserve for truly outstanding works that are excellent in their writing, henchman interface, gear and quests. Finally, the elusive 10 star rating is only given for a few of these modules that are virtually perfect and are memorable for good things that happen along the way. Usually longer and more intricate, with many areas that are well developed and that have lots of conversation that leads to completion of quests and an ending that is definite and hopefully satisfying.
You might think of my system as similar to that used in School, with a D(6 stars) for a less than acceptable module all the way up to an A+ (10 stars) for the ultimate experience.
So you can see that just throwing out the top rating for something that you haven't yet tried is a bit presumtuous and harmful to the rating system? Thanks for refraining from the premature scoring. Have fun playing these free but manytimes powerful entries in the NWN world.
