Okay to start out with, then got silly.
Monty haul with overpowered sword.
Why make players enter with 1lvl when you level them up to 5th?
It was cute.
This series feels like these small scope adventures were a playground for the author to familiarize themselves with the toolset. Of course, I might be totally wrong about that, but it's actually a great idea and also quite nice in execution. The smaller scope allows for really getting into designing without becoming overwhelmed. And for players the result is an enjoyable coffee break diversion that doesn't require a long time commitment. I spent more than 15 minutes on each of them, but still under half an hour, I guess. They're not suitable for building your characters up to epic levels, of course. Maybe better to use new, "throwaway" characters instead. You'll gain 2-3 levels in each module, but very quickly due to high xp rewards.
In this module, I particularly liked the funny little details and creative ideas in area design and writing, like the furniture in your home and its description. Story and combat were simple and could have been a little more fleshed out, but there was variety in enemies, and it was entertaining enough. The goblin village was a bit pointless, could have been funnier, and the two goblin chiefs I found distracting; apparently they were just there, without much context, and optional to fight, but they actually proved tougher opponents for me than the actual villain(s) in the boss battle at the end. Like Werelynx, I wondered why it says that the module is for a lvl 1 character when it levels them up to 5 at the beginning ...
