This package contains a growing number of animated water placeables. Each has 64 frames, and is at least 128 pixel quality. These textures use the "cycle" procedure, so are much faster than other procedures, such as "arturo" or "water".
These placeables have a base height of 1 meter, so that you can find them easily if they slip under something. Adjust the placeable z coordinates as needed. Each placeable is 10 meters square. Feel free to modify these any way you like.
The first kit includes 8 waters modified from Torchlight2. Wateranim01-08 use a sprite sheet one frame high, and 64 frames wide. The frames play sequentially from left to right. Wateremit01 uses a sprite sheet 16 frames wide and 8 frames heigh, and has 32 unused frames which are black space. Warteremit01 is for use with an emitter, not an animated tile texture.
In the included module, you will see placed all 8 Wateranim placeables, as well as the one Wateremit placeable. You can examine the difference between Wateremit01 and Wateranim01.
Future versions should bring more flowing water, as well as bubbling and flowing lava, where I'll show how to illuminate just portions of the lava texture, even while animated.
