Here I am again with 1 monster so tough that it requires you to be level 40 and team up with 8 different character class characters I made up (some of which use to be my PC characters before I turned them into NPCs) that are also level 40.... just to have the chance of trying to drive away an Epic status Tarrasque known as a "King Tarrasque".
I'm not making that name up people, as it can be found here https://dnd-wiki.org/wiki/King_Tarrasque_(3.5e_Monster)
I did my best to bring it to NWN with my own slight modifications to it vs the original listed in that link...
1: Based on the CEP version of Tiamat (which can be found here https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwn1/prefab/creature/tiamat-35-edit...) and how they ddi her attack bonus and damage values vs her 3.5e stats, I did a similar take for the King Tarrasque so that he can provide more damage to your Epic Characters.
2: The King Tarrasque has a "Nuclear Breath" that deals 48d8 'raw magic' (aka magical damage type) to the enemy. My version, again to make it a tough fight for this Epic Party you will be teaming up with, is set to its max value of 384. The reflex save throw vs it is still the same... though if you have improved evasion like monks do that you can dodge this completely. Note that in order to do this I had to replace the scripting for the Negative Energy Dragon Breath that the Shadow Dragon uses.
3: My King Tarrasque can go into rage and is equipped with a monk's Flurry of Blows ability. Again I wanted a true, but fightable, nightmarish monster that can serve as a Boss level monster for D&D without having to use that annoying and over AC'd Great Wyrm Prismatic Dragon.
4: Like the original 3e/3.5e Tarrasque (who according to the King Tarrasque's info, the Tarrasque we knew and loved was only the 'child' or 'baby' version of this monster) I gave the King Tarrasque the immunity to Fire, Acid, and a damage reduction of 15/6+
Sadly I do not have the ability right now to put in custom creature models and custom npc portraits... if I did it would look like this fellow I found recently https://c10.patreonusercontent.com/3/eyJwIjoxfQ%3D%3D/patreon-media/p/po...
...or even this https://cdnb.artstation.com/p/assets/images/images/012/531/543/large/flo...
These amazing Tarrasque 3d models are obviously NOT mine, but I found it them here https://www.patreon.com/posts/tarrasque-making-32566138 and here (respectively) https://www.artstation.com/artwork/eEgzG
Those Tarrasque models inspired me to seek out the best Epic stat version of the Tarrasque and bring it to NWN. I am happy with the results, my King Tarrasque is so tough that it's capable of rivaling the Great Wyrm Prismatic Dragon thanks to its Breath Weapon without needing OP Armor Class like Prismatic Dragons.
PS: Don't mind some of the names for my NPCs in this game, I just randomly made them up, others to be funny, and 1 (a former PC) was one I made after watching one too many "101 Dalmatian Street" episodes.
PPS: I am not good at conversations, so the henchmen talks are very simple and short. Also note that I regularly play NWN with this amazing improved ai mechanics in my override folder as it really does make the NWN NPC smarter overall https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwn1/hakpak/original-hakpak/henchma...
