DLA Present the 'DLA Canopied Forest' by the DLA Team. The Canopied Forest Haks are 2 Tileset add-ons for the Bioware Default Forest and any derivative combo tilesets that do not rename those tiles. Both haks provide varied forest areas with different trees - all with lush leaf canopies for use with an unlocked camera. Both haks provide a dense wooded edge tile that enhances the feel of a real forest over the default 'corn fields' of the Bioware default forest edgetile. The dla_canforest.hak in the archive is a REPLACING hak. By adding this hak to any module that contains areas built with the BioWare forest tileset, the hak will automatically retrofit the forest areas in the module to appear as a canopied forest, leaving the rest of the area untouched. It is a plug 'n play tileset add-on. No further editing is required. It is backwards compatible with all versions of NWN and about 3,000 modules on NWVault. The second hak, dla_canforest2.hak is a NON replacing hak that does not rename or override default BioWare content. Builders may build with this tileset add-on without overwriting previous BioWare tree models if they wish to for some reason. End user players will not want to use this hak unless instructed to by a module's specific hak pak requirements. A tiny third hak, dla_cf_edgefix.hak is included for builders. It addresses some quirks which will arise in building along some forest edges. Please see the readme inside the archive for details. This hak should not be used by players unless they are instructed to do so by a module's hak pak requirements. Author: DLA Team |

This was excellent adition back then and it was a first improvement which added canopies totrees.
However, it doesn't have quite basic feature what tilefading is. Makes playing from top down camera very annoying as you can't see your character. And building in toolset suffers from this even more.
From this reason, I wouldn't recommend this hak - instead get Helvene's forest (can't find link probably not there yet).
