This project contains two hak files that add high-ceiling versions of the Bioware castle interior tilesets. Though minor changes were made to some aspects of the tile designs, the overall style of the originals was maintained as much as possible.
Biocastles.hak contains the Castle Interior (tic01) and Castle Interior 2 (tni02) tilesets, using the standard Bioware textures wherever possible. It also includes a retextured version of the Castle Interior, with the wildly imaginative name Dark Castle (dct01). This hak should be compatable with both EE and 1.69. There were no changes made to the walkmeshes for tic01 or tni02, so the models and supplemental textures could even be extracted and put in the override folder if so desired.
Darkcastle_ee.hak is a version of the dct01 tileset with normal and specular maps for the major textures. I personally don't feel they're necessary, and prefer the version contained in biocastles.hak, but I figured I'd save anyone else the trouble of making them if they like that sort of thing. This hak is only compatable with NWN EE. If you do choose to use it along with the other hak, just be sure to put it higher in your list of haks (or merge the two, overriding the files in biocastles.hak when prompted).
As always, all of this is fair game to use for anyone so inclined. You are welcome to retexture, modify, or combine with other haks as much as you'd like.

Woah, what is going on lately with all these crazy awesome tilesets, thanks for this, this is amazing!
Well, since BD has said they're not doing a new renderer, I figured it was safe to start releasing some of the stuff I've had sitting around...
I see, well definitely hoping to see some update to the dungeon tileset with higher walls and ceiling aswell as Ruins Interior :D
Don't suppose we could have the dark castle override the normal castle?
Since it's mainly a retexture, with the same walkmeshes, it would be pretty simple to make it into an override if you'd like. You'd just need to grab the tileset duplicator utility from the Vault, extract all the dct01 assets from the hak, and use the duplicator to rename them from dct01 to tic01.

These are really nice retextures. The only thing I would do different is to have a different ceiling texture so it doesn't match the floor in some of the parts of the castle, other then that absolutely marvelous.
I hope you have more stuff to release as i admire your work, well done.
Amazing, I was waiting for a nice and to the point retextures of the castle interiors, I love your work.
Really nice work !
Thanks!
I would give the remaining star if each tileset had its file, instead of having to manually pull apart the files that belong to each tileset, if you want them separate or just want one of them.
I see tni02.set, but no tic01.set
Is it missing?
The tni02 tileset from Project Q had 314 tiles.
I see yours has 213 tiles (while iirc the original tileset had 211 tiles).
Is it possible somehow to use your ceilings with the project q version? some way to merge the tiles, or maybe just add your textures?
