Red Carnival is a short fantasy adventure module for the IceBlink Engine. It sends you on a fantastic journey to the little, unfortunately trouble ridden village of Broken Antler far in the north of Cormondor, the First Kingdom of Men on Grahir. Grahir is the name of the world's main continent and also the name of a large campaign I plan to develop for IB in the coming months and years. Red Carnival is a mere prelude to that campaign.
Red Carnival has been in development almost for the same time that IB has been in alpha (over a year). Therefore, it does not contain all of the newer great features of IB. Still, I hope it gives you a good first impression on what's possible with IB, especially in terms of flexibility as Red Carnival contains some heavily customized gameplay systems (e.g event fields and special rules in battles or a unqiue health regeneration system).
It's intended to be played with a single character of level 1, ideally from the Ranger class.
I humbly suggest you have a quick look in the readme provided in the downloadable .rar file for some further info, e.g on installation, and for some gameplay tips (it's not easy to successfully finish the adventure, I fear ;-)).
Hope you enjoy the adventure and please give some feedback, would be most appreciated!
All the best,
youngneil1

I'm giving this a perfect 10, because the Red Carnival was the pioneer module of the early IceBlink engine. It displayed creative use of sound, music and artwork. And very ingenious tactical situations.
Definitely a ground-breaking work, and fun to play.
Red Carnival will always be a special adventure for me as it was the first real module to be created with IB and an inspiration as to what the whole IB concept could do. The story is awesome and the characters are well developed for a short introductory module. Looking forward to the next installment in the Grahir campaign!
