Mortari Riseth (module)

This module is a short story set in a fictional land made up especially for this story. It is centered around a community of forest dwellers who are trying to protect their home from invasive undead dwelling in the desolation beyond the forest. The hero is sent on an investigation full of perils which ultimately leads them to unravel a plot spanning for over centuries.

The module is meant to be played with either a ranger, druid or barbarian, but can be played with other classes too.

Butterfly Fairies

Quick minor touchups of the default fairy, adding male version as well as a bunch of butterfly wings and one set of dragonfly wings. With love to quevy, who made the request / pitched the idea.

 

Loose .tga and .mdl files. F and M fairies 01-13. Portraits and 2da lines included. Override of c_fairy refers to texture c_fairyf01, but can be altered to any other if you want a different colorset for the default override.

Colours and Codes for StringToRGBString()

The main document addresses a specific need in NwN. The function StringToRGBString(string sStringToColour, string sColourCode) takes two strings as its parameters and returns a colour encoded string. The second string is a 3 character code that defines the actual colour to use. This code consists of three digits. Each digit must be in the range '0' to '7'. In turn this makes the whole code into an octal (base 8) number in the range '000' to '777'.

A persistent, ebay-style auction house. Users can put up items for bid/buyout, other users can bid/buy an item even while the owner is offline.

Includes a persistent account-based storage system (for item/money delivery). If you already have one, you will have to do some scripting to integrate it with this auction house.

Quasqueton B1 Maps

As with many folks my first experience with AD&D was my DM's modified copy of B1 In Search of the Unknown. I liked the map layouts and wanted to use it in my NWN1 module. So I searched around and never found anything quite right for me. There are alot of others out there but none that I quite liked. So I went to work on my own after a few tries and discards I got what I liked. I wanted to share this with others in the case that someone else might find it to their liking as well. It is just the maps with a couple things like the pools, garden and pits.

Sometimes, certain objects in the game cause annoyance, for me mainly because they interrupt my travelling, whether a poorly-placed sign or indestructible stones that entrap the PC. To that end, I have created a Charm of Destruction, which will destroy a single Placeable or Door target. I chose not to include Creature objects, because I though it too easily would allow me to break my game, but I've included the source, so feel free to hack away.

Named Color Token System

This project enables 146 color names to be used as color-changing tokens in dialogue and object name and description (including creatures, doors, items and placeables). Instead of hard-to-remember <CUSTOMxxxx> tokens or hard-to-type ASCII tokens (like <c~!!>), you can now use simple named color tokens like this: <ncOrange>this text is now orange</nc>.

In multi-Module campaigns, I like to sweep through the Module after I finish it, picking up any loot that I may have left as I was working my way through the Quests. To that end, I also like to ensure that I don't waste time checking the same container, so I developed some "Bashing" items for this phase of the campaign. Upon use or hit of these items, the code will destroy (or deal 99 magical damage to) all Placeables and Doors within a 40m cube of the target item/location.

It replaces the "cross-country skiing" animation with "bunny hop" animation, which is more dynamic and looks more like a real running. ReStealth Console Command

It's a single script that starts or stops a re-stealthing recursive function on the caller, making them enter stealth mode if they aren't currently stealthed and enemies are within 40f range.

Note: The loop ticks more slowly (6secs) when there are no enemies in range. First time an enemy comes into range can have a couple seconds delay until the next round of the loop happens and speeds it up.

 

To use, place restealth.ncs into your Override folder.

Ingame, run:

## DebugMode 1

## dm_runscript restealth
