Editing Item descriptions

I have what may be an odd question. Is there a mod or just plain easy method for editing item descriptions during play? I know we have appearance changers and even a stat changer but I haven't seen anything for description.

There is a SetDescription that lets you change descriptions for items or characters.

I fear I have returned to the game after a long time away and no longer have much technical knowledge. What do you mean? I command from debugmode?

I think that's for making scripts, I'm not sure it works in console on its own.

instruction: save to describe.NSS textfile in /Override [subfolder "tools" if desired] then open and compile it in the toolset. IG instructions are at the top of script.

I appreciate the help KevL's but I don't even know enough to do the compiling in the toolset. I will see if I can figure it out though.

Once you have the textfile (.nss) in /Override, toolset->File->OpenConversationOrScript...

click Compile, check for success (at the bottom of the script editor).
