can't get placeables from bckII to work

Hi, I'm trying to use Nytir's building construction kit II in a module I'm starting work on, but I just can't seem to get access to it in the toolset. The models don't appear and this error message keeps popping up. I've gotten a few other placeable packs to work with no problems. What does this mean and what am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated!

Most likely the placeables 2da /blueprints are mismatched. I would recommend using something like https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwn2/hakpak/combined/pjs-placeable-cornucopia

Yes, Nytir's stuff is pretty old. The placeable 2da file probably isn't even SoZ compatible.

I have used BCK II for Sarmates! and Al Andalus. I am using it for the 16 Cygni sequel too. Each time I have built my own placeable.2da, SoZ compatible, and did the renumbering according to the different placeables sets required by each campaign. It's really not that easy if you are not familiar with.

If I remember correctly I managed to not renumber BCK II lines in order to directly import the blueprints from the Full .ERF for BCK II file. Which means renumber other blueprints lines in the placeable.2da file in case of range collisions, import the original erf file, manually edit the appearence of the renumbered blueprints in the toolset, then export a fixed erf file for use in other modules. Remember also that there must be no gap in the renumbering. You can't jump from 3500 to 4000 for instance. You have to fill 'so called' empty lines (starting by '****') in between.

If you are not ready to struggle with a placeable.2da file, you may consider using cornupia a valuable option. At least to understand how it works.

You can get a placeable.2da file which  includes BCK II, Adobe RWS and other stuff , Al Andalus page aa_haks.7z archive, file aa_misc.hak, use NWN2Packer to grab the placeable.2da file from the hak.

Thanks for the advice! I've just got the cornucopia working and I'm quite pleased with the results. I hadn't realized how simple it would be with it to only include the resources I needed; I'd been staying away from big compilation packs because I thought I'd have to attach all the contents to the mod and end up with gigantic file sizes. I'm definitely not up for editing 2das yet, so this seems to have been exaclty what I needed.
