Harp and Chrysanthemum help

Really wanted to play this but am having multiple issues. I've checked some walkthroughs and seem to have the following issues:

1) The first difficulty I had was just that all the load screens display a "2D texture not loaded" message. The missing texture looks like it's Ianth's "Knights of the Rose" special ability (casts "Eagle's Splendor" once a day), just the way it displays, the casting itself works.

2) Thought that was the whole problem but now can't get the first transition to the world map to work.

3) Checking a couple of walkthroughs, it looks like some zombies that were supposed to spawn early in the game are mentioned in dialogue but don't actually spawn.

4) There's an early battle with a cleric of Bane or Cyric that apparently spawns some skeletal warrior---I got the cleric but not the skeletal minions, so it's not surprising that

4a) When I try to go tell the priest what the deal was with his two helpers, who were only posing as clerics of Ilmater but were spies, that dialogue doesn't trip.

I hope that made sense (it will if you're familiar with this campaign).

I'm playing on a laptop that is a much higher end machine than would have been typical when the campaign was first written and I've recently updated to Windows 10. I've checked and rechecked the installation itself---I did used to mod all the time with the old NWN1 community-developed campaigns/mods, so seem to have done the installation OK. I re-bought NWN2 with all 3 add-ons through GOG and have tried running it both with and without the GOG program manager.

Please, anyone who can help, let me know if you need more info on my system or anything. I was really looking forward to playing this one! :(

Thanks!

(PS, have also been playing Dark Waters and am experiencing no problems with its operation except an easily fixed problem jumping from the first chapter to the second)

I have no idea, but in cases like this i re-download the thing, open the .exe file, install it manually and empty my override folder.Did you empty your override?

Yes, I emptied override specifically because the other gamer in my life had just installed a pile of mods to override (did things like eliminate the level penalty for races like Drow). So yes, override empty. The modder had an installer that I used but I went over the manual installation instructions and made sure all the individual bits ended up where they were supposed to go. I did use an exported character that had to have some levels and equipment stripped (used her for Mysteries of Westgate); wondering if that was a mistake. Anyway, thanks, will start from scratch and try again.

I played that last fall on a Windows 10 machine that I recently upgraded from Vista. It seemed to go pretty smoothly for me but I have experienced scripts failing to fire in other mods. Did you download the mod itself here or from the nexus?

I downloaded it from its page here, where it looks like it was uploaded by the generic "update wizard" or similar rather than the modder. I didn't know you could update Vista to Windows 10. My Vista that used to be my work computer is now my personal email and class work computer---maybe I will try that. I didn't know about the nexus; can you point me? I was going to just pull all the files out manually and try again---it wouldn't be the first time, including buying some original on-disc games that didn't download to my computer right the first time. Thanks for taking the time to respond, and if the nexus you're referring to might be a better bet, I'm happy to try!

Upgrade from Vista to 10 was free until last July. You will probably have to pay for one. I also have a Win7 backup machine. Some games will run on that but not on Win 10, even in Compatibility Mode.

The Nexus site is here,  http://www.nexusmods.com/neverwinter2/
