Changing One's Alignment or Reputation

I have noticed now in several modules that I suddenly have all the NPC's go hostile on me, including animals! and I did not commit any crime! This is vexing to say the least. Is there a way to change one's reputation/character in these games, perhaps using the DebugMode console? I hate to abandon some of these modules as they are pretty much unplayable.

Thank for any info.

AFAIK the only console command that could do that is dm_runscript.

You don't need to change the module - just put your own script in override.

Unfortunately, scripting is tricky in this case. There is no way to say "make faction x friendly". You have to say "make this particular creature's faction friendly".

Also, the module will be no fun if you make creatures friendly that are supposed to be hostile!

So, for a given module, you'd need to identify one creature from each faction you want to change, using its tag to make the faction friendly.

Needless to say, any changes you make might cause unforseen consequences...

I've run into this problem before. You wouldn't happen to be using TonyK's AI package would you? Because I think it's a longstanding bug. If there are boars nearby then they almost always start attacking the PC and/or your henchmen will attack the boars in retaliation. Anyways, you might want to check the link that I'm providing below.

TheBarbarian was kind enough to write a couple of scripts, and I've used them myself and had no problems with them. That should be able to help you.
