Server issues after a host did a virus scan

Ive been having alot of lag for a few days and then suddenly we had major issues. Players character lists have the word( server vault) in () after character name and other enomilties like just the word server vault. Also I have issues with a player having no gear in their inventory and no stats either . I log the players chacter and their is no gear just red X in all the inventory boxes. We had the host put in a back-up and the issues are still there not sure what it is . I have all my dll files so is there something I need to resore or check . Any help would be great Im at my wits end.

Red X on inventory items is a missing/improperly padded baseitems.2da which references a tga appearance file associated with custom content.

Example - A banana icon for inventory could be it_smlmisc182.tga. The baseitems.2da references this as cvraftcompsmall on line #110.

A character loaded into a module which is missing this .tga filename, produce a red X.

A hakpak which once had this .tga file no longer has it.

The other issues sound like a database problem, but I have no experience with that.

Well the red X was in every box on all the inventory pages as well all the characters gear was gone from slots and its stats were like 1's if I remember ...and the character was lvl one. Could this just be a corrupted character.

I now am having issues with the server crashing and getting a error saying nwn server is experiencing a error and shutting down. This box is in front of the 2 boxes on the remote desktop and they just stay there behind the error box untill I close them. I see nothing in log all it says is server is shuting down. (Update) Well it seems to be happening after normal reset and the server is starting back up.

It sounds like the anti-virus software found a virus (perhaps a false positive) in a file that the server needs and removed the file. The missing file could be a mod, a hak, or any file the server needs, or it could even be part of the game itself, like an exe or dll. If that's the case, you could either do a laborious search for what file is missing, or reinstall everything. Maybe the virus scan report could give you a clue.
