Installing PRC as a hak patch, need help with the TLK

I'm trying to install PRC as a hak patch, as described here for Project Q.

I have added the HAK files to the patch directory in the NWN folder, and added them to the nwnpatch.ini file in reverse of the normal order.

This works fine. Launching the game takes noticeably longer, but after that there's no added load time for modules, and the content works in premium modules, too.

However, I have no idea how to add the PRC TLK file so that the PRC stuff doesn't look for text in the dialog.tlk file.

I'm basically a complete neophyte when it comes to modding NWN, so I'm hoping that there's some way other than adding empty lines to make dialog.tlk and prc_consortium.tlk mergeable, and then editing every single PRC 2da file manually to make them point to the new line numbers.

Please, help!

I don't think its possible hence why this option was never used and recommended.

Why anyway? If you play singleplayer, haks and tlk actually get loaded prior character selection.

If you play multiplayer then the server must have PRC too.

I'm no expert, but you could try changing your module properties so that the custom talk table on the custom content tab is prc_consortium.tlk (which needs to go in your tlk folder).

Not in the spirit of patch hacking, but I don't know any other way.
