Coloured Text Problem

I have just tried using "The Hitchhiker's Guide to Color Tokens" as the basis for writing floaty text in colour. The thing is the constant with all the characters in it that is provided in that package throws an "Unknown State in the Compiler" error in both 1.69 and EE. Has something altered since that was written because all I did with that constant was to copy and paste it? Is there a known workaround for this problem?

Any help greatly appreciated.

What compiler are you using?  The BW/toolset one?  If so, maybe try Skywing.

It appears that there are just 2 characters in that constant it doesn't like ÿ (ascii 152 hex 98) and Ÿ (ascii 153 hex 99). That's nuts! I don't suppose the bioware compiler supports the escape code entry of the actual codes does it? e.g. "\x98" and "\x99".

I'm using the built-in bioware one because to my mind using an external compiler makes it less open source.

I've done a simple workaround - Substituted the offending characters with those closest to them in the string. Probably unnoticable in practice but still a damn annoying bug. Now all I've got to do is get the whole script working...
