Streamlined User Interface

Hello,

I'm a new member of the vault. My username is supposed to describe what I can do best in terms of NWN modding - program in NWScript.

Today (actually few minutes ago) I released my first mod, which has nothing in common with programming:

https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwn1/other/gui/streamlined-user-int...

Some background: frustrated for many years with inconsistent usage of GUI icons, I always wanted to make a mod that would make it easier to play the game. I started playing around the game files in 2013 but it took 4 years to make it happen. Coincidentially, it was released on the same day an "enhanced" NWN was announced.

Please check the mod out and give me your feedback how it could be improved.

Best wishes,
NWShacker

PS. Can anyone tell me how can I contact vault's admins to allow more email providers? For some reason, my legitimate email address was rejected during sign-up process and I had to use another one.

Depends on your e-mail provider.

A lot of spam accounts come from certain countries that use particular mail providers, such as .ru extensions (bk.ru, mail.ru, etc), which became banned due to the annoyance of them, along with a large number of IP's from JSC ER-Telecom Holding.

Gmail, hotmail, yahoo and internet provider e-mails are always safe. Free mail services are a plenty, but there are a number of them banned as well from being used as registration due to spammers using them to get through to post or save some viagra advertisement in their signature.

Thanks for the info. I'm using a legitimate provider, not of Russian or Chinese origin. I sent a message to admins about this issue.

BTW, doesn't recaptcha2 filter out all of the bots?

You're good now, if you're looking to change it.

Captcha doesn't do much, no. They get around it.

Thanks, changed successfully. For your information, I signed up with a disposable email. Guess that domain wasn't on the black list.

Updated the project to version 1.1. Why is that you always learn the important things right after the release? Like me about the nwnpatch.ini file in this case.
