Ox with bag (Request)

I just notice that there is no creature model of a ox with bag in the nwn (for henchman with inventory)

Do you know where I can get one?

There are two in CEP (appearance Cattle : Ox : xxxx) or you could try these (I haven't looked at them, so not sure whether they're the same as the CEP ones).

Thank you proleric, but these links require CEP and I don't use CEP in my module!

There is how to extract the specify model from cep?

Or there is how somebody post on vault a separated model

Thank you

The link to the search query has non-cep pack oxs.

FP!

I beliave you made mistake with yourself! There is not HAK files in all that projects, but yes there is a ERF requiring CEP.

I checked all the projects links including the ox cart (that is a placeable and not a creature model unfortunately)

Sorry if I was not clear! I don't want a henchman with bag system - I already have a henchman system!

I want a model creature OX with bag visible

Hm, I see that the non-CEP one doesn't need CEP, but all it does is add scripts to the Bioware ox model, which has no visible pack.

The CEP models are defined in lines 1022 and 1024 of appearance.2da as packox.mdl and doa_packox.mdl.

Using NWNExplorer, extract those models in the CEP core haks. Add them to your own hak. Add the lines to your appearance.2da. If you want scripts and stats, maybe use one of those standalone erfs, changing the appearance to the ones you just made.

If you are lucky, those models will only need standard textures. (You'll know if there are missing textures because parts of the model will look white in the toolset - in that case, check the bitmap names in the models - these correspond to .dds or .tga textures which will be in the CEP core).

Uhuu I learn it. I'm able to use the ox with bag model! But... in the first model (1022 line) there is white parts in the bags. How may I get the missing tga files? I don't know what is BITMAP and how to find on it

Open the models with a text editor & search for every instance of the keyword "bitmap" (if the models are not plain text, decompile them).

bitmap x

means that the model is looking for the texture x.tga or x.dds.

Some of those textures will be standard Bioware. Nwnexplorer allows you to view the model structure in various ways, from which you can probably deduce which files are missing. If not, look for them all in the CEP core files - you will find the missing ones, but not the Bioware ones.

OK :-)  I got how to do the cep extraction process (future I'll do some extraction XD) Thank you Proleric.

The bitmaps files I found:

c_a_ox
PLC_RugDMtlBrk
pannier2
PLC_CrpsBksRp
TTF01_metal00
TTF01_wood2
TDM01_hrdwd01
TDM01_metl01

So I decided I'll not use the 1022 OX, because I have already installed the 1024 and I like it.
