Borked shoulder textures

Is it possible to fix the human male right shoulders for the normal phenotype, numbered 14 and 21 in the toolset? A part of the textures on them seems not quite right. They appear on the standard studded leather (nw_aarcl002) and armor of comfort (nw_maarcl021) for example.

Yep. Those are problems with their UV maps.

To fix it, import the model into gmax ("MDL Loading" in the NWmax toolbox), select the offending face(s), add an Unwrap UVW modifier (top right, "Modify" menu, click "Modifier List" and scroll down)), move the verts to where they're supposed to be, and export again (the export button is on the AuroraBase object).

You could also try pasting the map of the female version onto the male one, if the mesh is identical (other than having been pushed into a slightly different shape). At a glance, it looks like it might be. There are Save and Load buttons on the Unwrap UVW modifier.

I've not a clue how this happens, but it's the best texture bug ever, because fixing it is basically tangram. :-)
