This edited appearance.2da file tweaks the size of helmets for Elves (you can see their necks), female Humans and Half-Elves (not so top heavy), and Half-Orcs (less pinheaded). It also makes halfling weapons appear larger, 90% of the size of human weapons. This makes Halfling weapons look more menacing, shields larger, and hilights the halflings small size at the same time. It also increases the weapon sizes of Half-Orcs bit a smidge. Please feel free to leave feedback, as I have just finished tweaking it to my general satisfaction. Also, someone mentioned wings and tails which, having just installed HotU, has not been evaluated at yet. - Qlippoth NOTE: This file should be decompressed and the appearance.2da dropped into your override folder. It does not cause problems or conflict with haks. This file will make changes on YOUR side only, but can be added to hak files by module builders. I've been using this file for several versions and more than a year, and I've yet to see any problems. I hope this improves your experience as much as it has mine. - Qlippoth NOTE 2: This has now been updated for NWN/SoU/HotU 1.61. Sorry there's no pictures yet, will remedy shortly... - Qlippoth UPDATE: I have updated this to work with HotU 1.67. I never got around to looking at tails or wings, but I might do that at some point. Note that this override might not work if you are on a server with an updated appearance.2da in a hakpak for that server. If you have a hak file and wan to add these changes to your hak just copy the lines for the player characters from this file to your own. I only made changes to the WEAPONSCALE, HELMET_SCALE_M, and HELMET_SCALE_F values for PC models. I'm still playing with the Halfling weapon/Shield size (one value). It is subtle for the Male, but more noticable with the Female who is smaller (screenshot added).
