This small file makes Arcane Archer more playable.
Normally to play AA you need to be an elf/half-elf and have arcane spells of 1st level (be Bard, Wizard or Sorcerer).
If you put that file into override you will be able to play without those!
There are 2 versions: one which unlocks AA for every race and the other that unlockcs it also for every class.
Now I can make my Fighter/AA/Weapon Master illegal build :-)
Enjoy.

Interesting. Any chance of doing this for NWN2?
No idea how to do that.
Personally I don't see any problem with the AA restrictions. It's logic that you have to know a little about arcane magic, because you have to imbue your arrows with magic. About race, well elves are the best archers any way. The "dwarven defender" is even more restrictive.
Don't you think that going so radically against D&D rules could make the class too much overpowered?
All good points, but, frankly, I care not. Oryginally I wanted only elf restriction removed. Then I thought I would like to have 4th class i.e. Arcane/AA/Fighter + something.
If one thinks it's OP, then don't use it. Simple as that. :-) I'm not forcing anyone to cheat.
I play this game to have fun. Making archer character that doesn't suck is what I consider fun. I play Single Player only.
On a PW I Admin'd for, we ADDED Ranger to the list of acceptable classes that would provide the required magic component, as we felt that Ranger and AA were made for each other. We also made them earn 6 skill points per level, as when you read their (Ranger's) description, it says "Rangers are skilled stalkers and hunters"; not on par with a Rogue, but certainly more skilled than otherr magic users or Monks. Not overpowered we felt, but a refinement of the AA class.
That's good solution, maybe even better. I wouldn't know how to implement that though.
Here you go. :)
Ranger as Arcane Archer
Thank you.
Most welcome. :)
